'clink!'

'clink!'

'clink!'

"How infuriating I am!"

Who was she? She didn't know. Where was she? She didn't know either. How was she? She'll break down in tears if you ask her that right at that moment.

Every step she took, every head turn, every slight movement she made, a small 'clink!' was resounded by her. And her horrible self just couldn't make it stop, it was like a bell that was stuck to her. She didn't know anything at the moment. Why the sky was a deep purple, why every corner she passed by there was a porn ad, why there were nasty looking creatures everywhere, and why her body was always fucking 'clink!' - ing! Creatures that held horns atop their heads, or animal-human-hybrids, or just creatures so atrocious looking she couldn't even describe them. They waltzed everywhere on the street as if everything was fine and dandy while she was having a full-blown existential crisis.

Her enraged expression and sounds from her caught the attention of bystanders, but most either seem too horny, drunk, or uninterested to even care about the thing. Her bare feet hit the pavement, each clink louder than the last one as she stomped through the strange city. She didn't exactly know where she was going, she just needed to find where the goddamn exit was. Or at least a busy enough high way so she can run herself over.

She even gave a shot at yelling at the sky and slapping herself, but that would do nothing. She figured perhaps she had become a schizophrenic, or somebody had laced her food with drugs, but this all just felt too real. On the empty sidewalk, she fell to her knees while still looking up at the barren sky. Deep breaths, in and out, her once fogged mind became clear. Her name became clear, and suddenly memories flooded back to her like a dam had been broken. And suddenly a sense of emptiness had hit her, like she just went in a full circle and was truly futile in this life.
