He wanted to forgive August, to believe that he was sincere, but he couldn't forget the pain he had caused. As he sat in silence, waiting for his friends, August approached his car. "I know you're looking for your lost stepbrother, Carlos," August said, his voice trembling. "I know where he might be." Carlos looked up, his heart racing with hope. Could it be true? Could August have information about his long-lost brother?

Carlos put a firm grip on his car wheel, his jaw clenched with tension. August sat beside him, her eyes avoiding his intense gaze. "You're not lying to me...are you?" he finally spoke, his voice low and filled with doubt. August shook her head, her heart racing with fear. "No! I promise you, I'm not..." she stammered. Carlos let out a heavy sigh, his grip loosening slightly. "Okay then...get in," he said, but then added, "but I need to wait for two more people." August's curiosity got the better of her. "Who?" she asked. "Benedict and Chris," Carlos replied, his expression unreadable. August's heart sank. She knew those two would only bring trouble.
