Amani stood up in the car as it approached the villa, waving her arms around with a scream. She could hear an excited scream coming from the car behind her but had been told not to turn around. The vehicle came to a stop before being helped out of the car. She ran towards a blonde who instantly wrapped her arms around her.
"Oh my god! You're gorgeous!" the bubbly blonde looked her up and down with a shocked expression.
"Me? Look at you, you are stunning!" Amani stated obviously with her hand pointing towards her.
"Thanks babe, I'm Liberty"
"Amani" she spoke before kissing Lib on the cheek. "You ready to go in?"
"definitely" Liberty smiled towards Amani before grabbing her hand. The two girls made their way into the villa, a look of mixed shock and awe filling their faces as they looked at the beautiful villa. "Oh my god, we are the first people, this is amazing!"
"isn't it!" The two walked over to the champagne, Liberty being the one to pop it. They both screamed in excitement once they heard the pop.
"Okay! Cheers to being the first islanders of All Stars!" They clinked their glasses with a cheer. They had a play with the bunnies, hopping around on them and having a race before settling on the sun loungers.
"I cannot believe I'm back after 6 years! This is crazy!" Amani exclaimed, buzzing with excitement. "How long has it been for you?"
"Oh gosh, how long now? 2021..."
"I suck at maths so I can't help you there" A concentrated look crossed Liberty's face.
"2024 ain't it?"
"I don't know, don't ask me!" The two laughed before continuing with their chatter. They spoke of the relationships they were looking for and their types before they heard some noise and realized they had been joined by two new islanders. Amani stood up to greet them as she took note that one of them was Jake, the guy Lib was with last time she was here. She looked down at the blonde to see her reaction and couldn't hold in her laugh at Libs face.
"Oh my god, what is going on" Amani exclaimed in shock at the thought of lib having to see her ex.
"Nice to meet you"
"Hi! I'm Amani"
"I'm Chris, nice to meet you" he said whilst giving her a hug.
"You too!" breaking apart from their hug she was welcomed into another one.
"Hi, I'm Jake"
"Amani, nice to meet you!" She helped them to their glasses of champagne before they began to chat amongst the four of them.
"It must be crazy being here and seeing each other" Amani directed this to the ex-couple, though the answer was obvious with the awkwardness coming from the two.
The group continued their chatter on the sofa before seeing the door open. "Hi!" Amani exclaimed, eager to see who was joining them. Lib ran towards a beautiful girl who Amani recognized as Kaz. Walking over to them, she wrapped Kaz up in a hug. "You are gorg!"
"You look stunning, Oh my god!"
She moved away from the hug and began walking towards Mitch "What are you doing here, Messy Mitch" she spoke with sarcasm evident in her voice.
"Me? What are you doing here?" she laughed before wrapping him in a hug. The two had met a few times and had become acquaintances, Amani wouldn't class him as a friend as he had a tendency for pissing her off.
The group sat on the daybeds as they began grilling Kaz and Mitch, hoping to find out more about them. Jake started off the conversation, directing his question to Kaz. "So, what have you been up to? How have you been?"
"I'm good. I'm just living my best life." Kaz answered with a big smile, Amani admired her smile as the two continued to speak before butting in.
"Kaz, I love your voice"
"My voice, really?! I've never heard that one before, people mostly tell me to shut up" she replied jokingly, earning laughs from the islanders.
"No, I don't know why but I have this thing for girls who have a raspy voice, I think it's so sexy" Amani replied looking around at the group, hoping someone shared her opinion
"Yeah, I get that, like Amy Winehouse!" Chris said, pointing his finger at Amani.
"Yes! Oh my god, I love her voice, I could listen to her all day!" Amani exclaimed whilst the islanders laughed at her excitement.
Lib then turned to Mitch and began questioning him, whilst Amani tuned out, she was hoping another guy would come in who was more her type. The three lads who were already in were fit, but not really her type.
Lib turned to look at the girls, "I can't wait to dress up tonight"
"Oh my god! Same!" Amani said with a big smile.
They continued telling each other of their excitement before a voice interrupted them.
"Hello!"
Amani turned to see Anton and Georgia Steel, visibly tensing as her eyes landed on the girl. The two were on the same series but had not gotten along, Georgia had continuously tried to compete with Amani throughout the series, instead of trying to befriend her like she had the rest of the girls. Amani never played into Georgia's games, finding them to be petty and unnecessary and had tried to befriend the girl, but she never stopped. Georgia had even gone as far as to kissing her ex, Jack on the lips when she had chosen him for a date. This had been the last straw for Amani, and she had stopped being nice to her after that.
Once the girls were out of the villa, they never spoke but Georgia had made up a rumours about Amani. This infuriated the girl, so she took to social media and said some not so pleasant things.
Amani muttered "Oh god" under her breath, hoping the girl wouldn't want to compete with her as she had last time. She was the last to approach the newcomers, she looked at Anton with a big smile, the two had met many times and were quite good friends. "Hey! How have you been!" she spoke as she pulled him into a hug.
"I've been good Amz, it's been a while"
"It has, but now you can't get away from me" the two laughed before Amani was approached by Georgia who, to Amani's surprise, pulled her into a hug.
"Hi Amz, I'll pull you for a chat in a bit"
Unsure of how to respond, she said the first thing that came to mind. "Yeah, okay." She winced at how dry she sounded but she couldn't help it, the other girl had really hurt her even though she had never done anything wrong.
