𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄... whenever Chloé is giving Marinette a hard time, you always try to be there to intervene before things get out of hand. However, Marinette can always count on you to do the same thing whenever you're there: to berate Chloé for being bossy, egotistical, superficial, and above all else: careless about other people's feelings, especially Marinette's.
While she can always take care of things or brush off Chloé's remarks, Marinette still finds it heartwarming that you're not swayed in the slightest by the blonde's threats to call her father, Mayor Bourgeois. However... there are times when Marinette feels sorry for just how many times you've had to come to her rescue just because Chloé was picking on her.
"Y/n!" The dark-haired girl was able to catch you before you left the school's premises. Hearing Marinette's voice, you stopped in your tracks and waited for her to catch up. "Do... do you have a minute?" She said between pants.
"Yes..." as soon as you agreed to spend some time with her, Marinette then decided to go on a three-minute tangent on how she's sorry for all the times you had to stand up to Chloé for her. "Um... Marinette?" You tried to get her to stop, but to no avail, she just continued to ramble on and on. It was only when you spoke up again was when she decided to stop. "Marinette."
"I, uh..." she blinked. "Yes?"
"It's okay. I don't mind it."
"Oh, pffffht!" Marinette laughed. "I knew that. Of course, I knew that." It was evident that she was lying through her teeth. She was just saying that in hopes that things wouldn't be so awkward on her end because, sheesh, she knew how to make a fool of herself without fail. But she's just happy that you're patient with her and never get embarrassed whenever she gets like that. It means the world to her. ♡
