I sat in the back of my math class, my mind slowly drifting away from the numbers and equations on the board. The teacher's voice became a distant hum as I found myself daydreaming, lost in my own thoughts. Algebraic expressions became a blur, and I tuned out the surrounding classroom noise.Suddenly, I felt a peculiar sensation, as if a warm breeze brushed against my skin. It was almost like a gentle touch, guiding me out of my dazed state. Opening my eyes, I was greeted by a blinding light that filled the entire room, overwhelming my senses. The classroom walls dissolved into nothingness, and I found myself transported into an entirely different world. Now, standing in the middle of a vast meadow, I marveled at the beauty around me. The grass swayed gracefully with the rhythm of the wind, producing a soft, soothing melody that filled the air. In this realm, tranquility and peace seemed to permeate everything. As I scanned my surroundings, I noticed a figure emerging from the distance. Clad in intricately designed robes and emanating an aura of wisdom and power, the figure stood tall and commanding. With every step the figure took, the ground seemed to vibrate in reverence.I recognized him instantly—the god Enki, known for his wisdom, intellect, and patronage of arts and sciences. His presence alone was awe-inspiring. It was as if the very air around him crackled with energy, flooding my senses with both anticipation and curiosity.Enki's eyes met mine, and although he didn't speak, I could hear his voice resonating within my mind. It was a voice filled with ancient knowledge and an invitation to explore the depths of unimaginable mysteries. Images and symbols flooded my vision, fragments of secrets unraveling before me.Throughout my vision, Enki guided me through various ancient civilizations, imparting knowledge and wisdom as we traveled. It was as if I was granted access to a library of forgotten ancient texts and teachings—each piece unlocking a greater understanding of the universe and my place within it.As the vision began to fade, I could feel a bittersweet farewell echoing within me. Enki's presence slowly dissipated, leaving behind a lingering impression of his wisdom and guidance.I blinked, finding myself back in the math classroom. The teacher's voice and the chatter of my classmates rushed back into focus, but I couldn't shake the profound experience I had just encountered. It was a vision that had touched me deep within, leaving me with an unquenchable thirst for more knowledge.

As I regained my senses from the overwhelming vision of Enki, I could still feel the lingering power of his presence within me. The classroom noises faded into the background as I closed my eyes, trying to process the profound experience I had just witnessed. In the darkness behind my eyelids, I saw images form, shifting and morphing. The vibrant colors of Enki's realm transformed into a murky darkness, and I found myself standing on the edge of an abyss. The air around me felt heavy, and an eerie silence hung in the atmosphere.Peering into the abyss, I could sense its depth and vastness, stretching far beyond what my human mind could comprehend. It felt like staring into the very essence of creation and destruction, the birthplace of all things.Slowly, a faint voice echoed from the depths, whispering ancient secrets and forgotten truths. It was as though the abyss held the answers to questions mankind had been seeking since the dawn of civilization. Mesopotamian symbols and tablets floated before my eyes, each telling a story of gods and goddesses, of creation and chaos.Enki's voice resurfaced within my mind, guiding me through the abyss, revealing hidden knowledge buried within its depths. With every step I took, the symbols and tablets came alive, telling tales of the birth of humanity, of epic battles between gods and monsters, and of the delicate balance between order and chaos.I felt a deep connection to this ancient world, as if I had walked its shores in another lifetime. The vision allowed me to witness civilizations rise and fall, to understand the origins of human culture and consciousness. It was a mesmerizing journey, both awe-inspiring and humbling.Eventually, the vision of the abyss began to fade, replaced by the familiar classroom setting. I opened my eyes, my heart racing with a mixture of excitement and bewilderment. The class continued as if nothing had happened, but I couldn't shake the lingering presence of Enki and the profound knowledge I had gained. From that moment on, I knew that my path was intertwined with ancient wisdom and the pursuit of truth. I had been chosen to glimpse into realms beyond my comprehension, and I had a responsibility to uncover the mysteries that lay hidden within. As I sat there, contemplating the vision, I couldn't help but feel a surge of determination and curiosity. And couldn't focus on this algebraic equation, forget math, I needed to understand this.

I was completely unaware of my surroundings. The classroom had become a distant realm, separated from the profound experiences unfolding within my mind. But just as the vision of the Mesopotamian abyss began to consume me, a voice interrupted my thoughts."Starri! Starri, wake up!" echoed a familiar voice, pulling me back to reality. It was Mr. Enlil, my math teacher, his voice filled with urgency and concern.Blinking rapidly, I shook off the remnants of the vision and focused on my surroundings. The classroom walls solidified, replacing the darkness of the abyss with the familiar bustling of students and the distant drone of the lesson. My heart raced, both from the intensity of the vision and the sudden intrusion of reality.Mr. Enlil stood beside my desk, his brows furrowed with worry. "Are you alright?" he asked, his eyes filled with genuine concern.I took a moment to steady myself, feeling a sense of vulnerability as I tried to articulate the inexplicable experience I had just undergone. "I... I'm not sure," I replied, my voice still trembling with the remnants of the vision. "I had this intense vision, and I was so caught up in it that I lost touch with the present."Mr. Enlil's expression softened, and he motioned for me to join him at the front of the classroom. Sensing his sincerity, I gathered my belongings and reluctantly followed him. As we stepped away from the sea of desks, the curious gazes of my classmates followed us, their whispers filling the air.Leaning against his desk, Mr. Enlil spoke in a hushed tone, attentive to my experience. "Visions, particularly ones that transport you to another realm, can be overwhelming and disorienting," he explained, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and caution. "It is important to ground yourself and maintain a connection with the present reality, especially in a classroom setting."His words resonated with me, and I nodded, thankful for his understanding and guidance. "I didn't mean to lose touch," I admitted, a tinge of guilt coloring my voice. "It just happened so suddenly, and I couldn't resist the pull."Mr. Enlil nodded, his expression mingling with understanding and curiosity. "Visions can be powerful moments of revelation, but they can also distract us from our daily responsibilities," he said gently. "It is crucial to find a balance, to treasure the insights gained while not neglecting the practicalities of our lives."His words offered me solace and reassurance, reminding me that my experiences had value, but also reminding me of the importance of remaining grounded. With a renewed determination, I thanked Mr. Enlil for his understanding, promising to be more mindful of my focus during class. As I returned to my seat, I reflected on the profound visions I had experienced and the guidance Mr. Enlil had imparted. I now understood that unraveling the mysteries of the gods and seeking ancient wisdom required an integration of the extraordinary and the ordinary, a balancing act between the realms of knowledge and the practicalities of everyday life. With newfound clarity.

I looked at  up my teacher as he still looked at me. The bell then rang. "Thank you Mr. Enlil. I am sorry if you get flooded with freshman." I nodded my head then left as I had geometry and geography even though to add to my repertoire of classes I had art, world history and English.

I then walked into Mrs. Shais class..

It was hell.
