"Do you have all your things," I asked.

"Yeah, I do. I'll see you next month, I love you!" Cece gave me a hug as she ran to my uncle.

"I love you, be safe."

Cece's mom had died a year ago, and her dad needed extra help, so we kept her for a month and she went back to her dads for a month and so on.

I went back inside and laid on my bed. I checked the weather on my phone and it said that there would be a big storm coming through. To me, rain meant movie night.

I decided to text Christian to see if he wanted to come over to have a horror movie marathon with me and he quickly responded with a yes.

I got into an oversized tee shirt and popped some popcorn. Right as I was poring some butter on it, Christian let himself in. He was wearing his own merch and some khaki's as usual.

"Hey cutie," I smiled as he came over to peck my lips.

"Hello beautiful," he grinned. "Can I help you get anything?"

"Nope, I'm just finishing getting the popcorn ready but the movies, drinks, and blankets are on the coffee table," I responded.

"You're the best."

"I know," I giggled.

I turned all the lights off and put in "Would You Rather." Christian laid on the couch and I laid right in front, his hand hung over my waist.

"I would've pegged you as a little spoon kinda person," I whispered.

"Usually I am, but I feel more manly as this way," he laughed.

As we cuddled, we ended up watching 6 movies until we both fell asleep.

At 3am, we were both awoken by lightning.

I jolted awake as did Christian. "Hey, it's okay, it's fine," he comforted. He hummed into my ear until I fell asleep again...
