All seemed quiet. A small, warming breeze meandered it's way through the lands. No sounds seemed to interrupt this magical scene. There wasn't a hint of noise to be found. The prophecy was fulfilled and not a thing left to do.
Could this really be?apparently so...
...somewhere in a land far away, where magic seemed to still have a place. Creatures wandered around, aimlessly scaring citizens to death. A saviour was needed and a chef came to the rescue. Soup ladle and pot lid clasped between his scared hands looking at a red light in the far. „You fucking donkey" reverberating within the mountains. A message sent but never received targeted at this cruel glitch that sent the man.
His blonde hair was short at yet styled up in a way that made it seem like it was reaching for the stars. Not a strain was facing towards the ground that had already tasted his cold sweat raining from his forehead. Along with his orbs, seemingly reflecting the vivid colours the kingdom once used to be drowned in, his presence seemed to seek belonging. In way it already did, resembling the undirected spirit of wandering creatures.
And so his adventure began, with the hope to not loose oneself in the proses. Though the promising light was still distant, the sweaty nose was able to detect more than just burnt grass and rotten flesh coming from its direction. Someone was preparing sauce, not just any sauce. Did they use vegetables? No... there was an undoubtable truth, the sauce prepared was extracted from a lamb. All hesitation was replaced with courage and determination. Moments later the man started his quest to located the lamb sauce along with its cook.
His relatively tall body quickly carried him across the land. Here and there were smaller wooden planks or stones crossing his path. Carried away by how he seemed to manage every obstacle with ease it made him feel like he already knew this place. Even though he was quite fast, the daunting truth caught up.
The flames whose red had deepened even further gave of a scorching heat. Next to them he noticed a silhouette. Small head, horns, tiny figure. Whatever it was, it being of human nature was out of the question. His precipitate approach didn't leave much time to think and before the blonde knew it, an ominous creature was initiating attack.
Barely in time he managed to raise the pot lid before a wrinkled red hand reached his head. Immediately after, the opponent tried to cut off his feet but the blonde jumped over the silver sword he, just now realised was held against him landing on top of it and disarming his enemy. Doing so gave him a brief moment which was put to use right away. Without a hint of hesitation the soup ladle hit the monsters head and it fell into the flames changing their shade into a light green. Oh how he hoped the fields around him would follow its lead.
A sudden thought came to mind thanks to the present smell of something he had been looking for. All anger towards his situation and the unexpected fight almost made him forget the reason he initially came here. The lamb sauce, inconspicuously sitting next to the bonfire.
