Acharya Drona was bathing and praying in the river when suddenly a crocodile attacked him. Everyone started running helter-skelter, trying to find something, Duryodhan was ordering his brothers to give him his mace.

Arjuni, without thinking, jumped into the water and held the crocodile by it's mouth while freeing her Gurudev. Everyone was shouting at her to get back to the river bank, or to get away from the crocodile, but Arjuni didn't listen and choked the crocodile with a thick stick, big enough to do the work.

Drona looked proud of her and suddenly the crocodile dissappeared. Everyone looked shocked at its sudden disappearance. Arjuni looked confused. Dronacharya looked proudly at her and gets back on the bank, holding her hand. He proudly announced her as the best disciple of the hermitage and went away.

Timeskip to court of Hastinapur, after 12 years:

"Maharaj ki jai ho!" Sakuni suddenly shouts out loud. "As the Kuru princes and the princess are coming back today, how about we organise a competition to see who's the most competent one and a banquet in the evening? What do you think maharaj?" Shakuni grins, showing his black teeth. Bhishma is suspicious and a skeptical of Shakuni, but cannot do anything.

The next day at the competition:

All of Hastinapur's population, the royal family members, Dronacharya and Ashwatthama were present.

There was a wheel in which the names of the Kuru heirs was inscribed. Ashwatthama shoots an arrow at the wheel and Duryodhan is called first in the arena.

First Nakul is called to fight with Duryodhan, but gets defeated. Sahadev is next, but the outcome was the same. Next Yudisthir was called and he almost defeated Duryodhan but, Duryodhan said something so explicit about Kunti that Yudisthir became furious. But he gave up because he thought he would have hurt Duryodhan and would have broken the rules of the competition, and was hit by Duryodhan from behind, resulting in him losing. Then Bheem came, who did break the rules but then explained "i only want Arjuni to defeat him. And i wanted to hurt Duryodhan too."

Next, Arjuni was called. The majestically beautiful girl was about to walk through the main gate. She was just a few meters behind. Ashwatthama aimed at the elephant sculpture above the gate.

"You wish to shoot that elephant sculpture so that it falls on Arjuni, don't you?" Ashwatthama lowered the bow and looked at Drona. "Come. Give me the bow. I will do the work for you." Ashwatthama was confused but still gave the bow. Drona shot the sculpture, and it began to break, and just when Arjuni entered, the sculpture's pieces fell on her completely.

Kunti and the Pandava brothers got up from their seats. Shakuni, Ashwatthama and Duryodhan smiled smugly in satisfaction, Bhishma and Vidur looked shocked and upset. A lone tear started to fall from Kunti's cheek when suddenly an arrow caught the tear. The arrow went right below Kunti's face and she just stared in shock.
