"Cam" I heard a voice of a guy calling me.
I'm on my way to the cafeteria because my class was over and I need to feed my stomach.
I turned around and saw Dwight smiling at me.
"Hey Dwight" I smiled.
"Are you coming to the hospital tonight?" Dwight asked.
"Probably, I mean... What kind of best friend am I if I won't right?"
"Right" He nodded.
"See you there?"
"Yeah... Of course" He smiled.
"Bye Dwight" I smiled at him.
"Bye" He chuckled as I walked away from him.
I just realized that Dwight was actually cute.
I never saw his face clearly due to the circumstances on the time we met.
I know... I'm a whore... Bite me.
I walked through the hallway when I heard bang from inside the locker room.
Out of curiosity, I walked inside the locker room.
The banging of the lockers grew louder and louder.
Not gonna lie, I'm scared that it might be a ghost or something since I'm the only person to happen to pass by this room.
I went deeper to where the noise came from and I saw Jake shirtless punching one of the lockers like it's a punching bag.
His hands are all flushed up red almost looked like it's bleeding because of the hardness of his punch.
I rolled my eyes and leaned against one of the lockers and folded my arms.
"Okay, what did the locker do to you?" I asked in a monotone voice.
He stopped punching and looked at me in surprise and then chuckled.
"Cam... I didn't see you there" He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well I definitely heard you, so what's going on?" I asked.
"Was I that loud?"
"Punching a locker with that type of metal doesn't really create a silent sound Jake... Are you okay?" I walked closer to him.
"I'm fine really" He tried to smile as he sat on the bench next to the locker.
"A person who feels fine doesn't punch a locker that hard Jake... Clearly something's bothering you" I looked at him emotionless.
"Cam"
"You gotta talk Jake, bottling up emotions is gonna kill you"
"I'm concerned that if I talk to you, I'm just gonna burden you"
"So you punch lockers?"
He chuckled probably out of embarrassment so I chuckled with him.
"I'm just stressed"
"About?" I asked as I sat next to him.
"Everything" He sighed.
"Care to elaborate?" I smiled at him assuring him that he's safe.
"I'm stressed because Basketball season is almost over and I'm too weak to even play"
"You're not in your right headspace and so what? I'm sure you'll pick yourself back up during the finale" I smiled at him.
"Championship" He chuckled.
"Right" I nodded.
"I don't think I can, I'm too stressed with LSAT and now my girlfriend is in the hospital... I'm still waiting for her to wake up" He sighed trying to hold back his tears.
