Tai stumbled outside of the outskirts of the graveyard, scrabbling to hide behind one of the stone pillars at the entrance, silently pleading that because it was night time that they wouldn't see themself.
The pillar was covered in old grime,which rubbed off on Tai's red sweater.
But their attempts at hiding from the group were futile. All 7 of them were taller than Tai, but other than that, there was nothing consistent about the group.
"I found it! hiding behind the pillar" One of the group members shouted on spotting Tai.
Tai tried to sprint off again but Jayden one of the group members, caught the back of their shirt, They pulled Tai back and grabbed their shoulders.
"Do you remember last night with Alex? you liked it, admit it." Jayden taunted Tai's ear.
Tai Took a sharp breath.
Tai was dragged to the cold old graveyard with hundreds of gravestones, all varying in size, some fresh from a couple months ago to those from 100s of years ago.
The oldest ones are covered in dead foliage, as no one is around to clean it up anymore.
The graveyard was large and they were forcefully pulling Tai to go right in the middle of it.
It would be too far for them to run without being caught again.
In the middle of the graveyard, there was a mausoleum, with rotting boards of wood blocking the windows.
The group took these boards that still had nails all over them and used it to beat Tai, the long thick nails they were attached to the board, pierced Tai's skin, causing blood to seep from the flashy deep wounds.
The woodcrashing into Tai left red marks that would eventually become bruises.
Tai was bloody, sobbing on the dry grass.
Tai thought about running even though anywhere where they could escape too far at this point,
but then they also realized that there were many many graves here and they weren't in a situation where they were actually handle running that far,
The group believed Tai was a slut, they gave Tai a lesson but were not satisfied.
Tai knows that they can't fight the group all by themselves, but they know that because it's a group that they will become more unstable if they get into a fight with each other.
Tai used to be able to escape them by instigating a disagreement amongst them, which would make them forget about Tai.
But somehow they'd always unite, and tonight they were united by one goal.
The night before Tai was shaking and disoriented when they came home from Alex's house, Their clothes were torn.
A gray tabby cat quickly scurried towards Tai when they entered the house,
The cat's name was Macha.
Mancha purred at Tai's leg, but Tai did't register Matcha's attempt of comfort.
Tai hurried into their house and took a shower. It was the final straw.
A few weeks Prior, had discovered a 𐌔𐌙𐌌𐌁Ꝋ𐌋 etched on a tree in the forest, and when they saw this symbol, they spotted another l and then another one.
One after the other, almost like it was a trail and at the end of it, they discovered something... beautiful......but dangerous.
And Tai swore to never use it on anyone, but now they were detached.
They were numb and they knew what they had to do. Tai wasn't a stranger to fighting back, or at least attempting to, they had always been smaller than most people and easily overpowered.
But now Tai got to pull out their greatest weapon. Tai was still laying on the ground, the group had stopped mashing the boards over them for a moment to take a break.
But during that they were demeaning Them. Tai quickly but clumsily stood, their entire body aches from fresh bruises and wounds.
They noticed that one of the members was about to reach for the board again and Tai with no hesitance, ran to the corner of the cemetery, that was closest to the woods that they'd explored weeks ago.
They didn't have hope before running through it before but they noticed themselves with sheer willpower somehow managing to make it through the graveyard with ease!
Almost like a force was guiding them, tempting them. Tai made it to the outskirts of the forest and the seven others were chasing Tai, just as planned.
The force was pulling Tai more and more like a string and they moved faster and faster than they thought they would.
Tai passed by the first 𐌔𐌙𐌌𐌁Ꝋ𐌋 and its glowed yellow bright contrasting black jet black sky and each time they passed a new one, it would glow.
The group was audibly getting more and more confused as the 𐌔𐌙𐌌𐌁Ꝋ𐌋 passed, and in an instant one flash of blinding yellow light, They all met their end.
Some had limbs ripped off their bodies leaving shattered bones behind torn flesh.
Others had their brain melted and it was bleeding out of their eyes and mouth.
Another's organs were ripped out and placed in different places in the body.
And one even had a skull completely crushed with blood gushing out of it.
"Now....now I have the ability to cleanse this world of sin" Tai stated.
