Ok so picture this your in a war with another nation/race/whatever and your in a meeting room planning out the next major attack you and your army will take when suddenly a young man runs into the room and says that the enemy has been spotted approaching the camp. You look at your comrades and turn to the general a try and convince him that they are to strong and you need to retreat but he's to stubborn and won't listen and says that he will not chose the path of a coward and order for the rest of the army to prepare for a fight ( I have no clue how the fuck military shit works so bear with me). Skip to when everyone is prepared for the fight when suddenly a loud cannon is heard firing towards your base and in the blink of an eye it's all gone. Your friends, comrades, all of them are gone and you are horrified. You turn to your right to see the general look as though he was not affected although with a second glance you notice the smallest twitch in the finger, something you picked up on from all the meetings with him as a sign of him being nervous of panicking, you yell some shit about how he should have listened to you but no he was to egotistical and decided to go for a plan which was suicidal to begin with. But then you realise the situation you are in is not the right time to be picking fights so you bottle down those emotions for a later date and start making a sprint away from the approaching army who may I add are fucking stacked like imagine this was Minecraft they would be in netherite and you would be in like iron or maybe diamond that's the power difference here , so after you running for your life and also ditching the general cause fuck him you stumble upon a somewhat abandoned town minus the caw of birds showing that there were in fact some sort of inhabitants of the town.
Now while this may seem like any other town in the area, due to the battle, however you can't shake the feeling that something is watching you. This "presence", (as you decided to call it) , didn't feel all that bad but still eerie so you kept your guard up when out of seemingly nowhere a hooded figure(I know original) grabs a hold of your shoulder spooking you and in turn causes you to attempt to flip them over your head. Key word there attempt cause they manage to dodge you and not only that but also make you trip causing you to pass out.
Bam that's it you choose where you wanna wake up but I'm done with this.
