The nurse's P.O.V.

I knocked on the door of all that remained of Susan Heller. I can't imagine what she's going through. But she can't just leave her kids like this. She used to be so cheery. Especially after Sarah's big race.

I heard a small moan from the other side. I knew that was my "okay" to come in. "Hey Susan. Your daughters were asking if they could go to the park. Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah sure. Sarah loves to run around there. Just last week we had her 10th birthday party there." she said in a hushed voice. Once again distant, staring of into the great unknown.  

I'm confused. Isn't Sarah 17? What is she....Ohhhh. I know what this is. She's so afraid of what's happening now that she put herself back in a time that was good for her. I don't exactly know what to do. I'll just play along, "Okay, I'll tell them." I walked out, told the girls, and went to see the doctor.

"Uhh, Dr. Pappone. Yes uhh. I have a patient in recovery that...
