It was a beautiful day perfect for a birthday party. Link managed to sneak by one more time with more information about it, it was gonna be held in Hyrule fields as a picnic and while gifts weren't needed it was greatly encouraged. Zelda of course had fully intended to get the little princess a gift or two. After all, you only turn 12 once. The Princess left herself a note and even Shiekla was informed so hopefully she wouldn't forget.

She did not, it was the first thought that had popped into her head that made her more alert when she woke up this morning. Dressed and her regalia added it was time for breakfast and to combat Felton. Zelda had every intention to find a way or some kind of loophole, one way or another she'd find a way to make it to this party.

And so it began, "Ah good morning Princess lovely as usual. I have the latest schedule today. We have some important documents that will need your approval and then perhaps...." He started. Zelda groans, not even down the hall towards breakfast and already he was planning her day out.

She had to speak quickly and harshly for his attention,"Felton?"

"Yes my princess?"

"Are we at war?" Zelda asks bluntly.

Felton's eyes widen in shock, "Um...no Princess. Why?"

"Do I have any reason to suspect we might have serious trouble in the land?" She asks.

"No." Felton replied, was greatly confused.

"Am I expecting any important guests? Do I have any special meetings to attend?"

"Um...no my lady." He double checked just to be sure.

Zelda sighs with annoyance, "And these documents that need my attention, how long before their subject matters will become important and unavoidable?"

Felton hesitated, "Well...They are mostly just financial dealings and such."

Zelda smirks for a moment, "Answer me this, if these documents aren't attended to as soon as possible, will we be at war, will a man be executed for a crime that he didn't commit, do we risk offending the other races, is someone going to lose their home, or anything like that?" She quizzes.

"No Princess." He answers rather solemnly.

"So they can wait?" She then asks.

"Uh...yes I suppose they could." He admitted.

The princess grins, yes! "Then they shall. I have a few personal matters to attend to. Don't trouble yourself, I don't intend to shirk my duties but I wish to have more in my life than politics. Have the chefs make a simple meal and a special dessert for me and a few others, I have been invited to a birthday picnic." She informs him. The task master nodded understanding before leaving. However..."Oh and TaskMaster Felton. One more thing." Zelda started.

"Yes... Princess?" He hesitated to ask.

"I know you are excited and wish to alert me to my duties quickly but...not before breakfast. The day is long enough as it is."

"Understood. I apologize." He bowed respectfully.

Yes! It finally happened! She stood up to Felton for once and it felt incredible. She needed to do that more often; it felt liberating. She was given a picnic basket and was heading out the door. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a familiar face following her.

Princess Zelda giggled, "Shiekla if you insist on going with me there is no need to hide. You're more than welcome to join me.

Shiekla steps out of the shadows, "Apologizes Princess, I wish to remain hidden. If the enemy doesn't know I'm there, I will have the advantage."
