Jaune Arc is a young boy that has always dreamed of becoming a huntsman, but was shot down with a rejection from combat school. However, a new opportunity to become stronger presents itself to him.
This is my first story and english is not my first...
The day had finally come. The day where he would enter Beacon Academy.
He had just boarded an airship that would bring him to the aforementioned place and he was a feeling a little nervous. He was going to a place where he would train and learn for 4 years and become a huntsman, something he longed for as long as he recalled living.
A while back, he had bid farewell to his family, which they all wished him good luck. When the ship started moving he felt something funny on his tummy (heh), but luckily it was gone now.
Looking around the ship, he saw two girls talking about some bees and knees. He also took notice of some news playing. It said something about a criminal named Roman Torchwick that had lead a robbery. It then changed to a reporter recounting the events on how a faunus protest had gone dark, until it got cut by a hologram of a woman appearing.

"Hello, and welcome to Beacon" She greeted "My name is Glynda Goodwitch" The lady presented herself.
"You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy. Our world is experiencing and incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now, it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world." She finished.
It was a truly inspiring speech, and it sank even deeper when looking through the windows of the ship, as one was able to see near and far buildings, each with people whom we had vowed to protect.

When the ship landed, Jaune had gone to the restroom before leaving it as he didn't know when would he be able to find another. As he minded his business, he suddenly heard an explosion. Leaving the ship, he saw a young girl falling on the ground. She was one of the girls she saw talking before.

Deciding to help her, Jaune walked to her and extended his hand to her while presenting himself. "I'm Jaune."
"Ruby" She said, accepting his help.
Walking for a bit while chatting, Jaune presented himself a bit more 'formal' manner. "The name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls of the tongue, ladies love it!"
