The Drapple Chronicles: My Dearest Friends
Draco was never more anxious in all of his life.
This day, mark your calendars, was going to be important to him and his girlfriend within the days. This was the day he introduced her to his friends. Crabbe and Goyle are so anxious to meet her.
The only problem was that she was an apple.
No, not just an apple, Draco thought, she is the apple. Apple. The most beautiful thing he has ever laid eyes on. With her glistening skin, and unbelievable aroma. She is his life.
Draco wondered, gazing out the dorm window, what his friends would think of her. He watched as the moon, high in the sky and full as one could get, slowly began to sink, lost in thoughts of where him and Apple might be in ten years. Traveling, that's what he wanted to do, visit places with Apple, it would be amazing. But a lot could change between then.
The moon had sunk low enough, and Draco crawled back to bed, in hopes of catching a few hours of sleep.
Tonight. Tonight. Tonight.
It's the night! He shivered, anticipation itching at his skin. He felt the weight of Apple in the pocket of his ropes. He pulled her from his robes, "Beautiful night to meet my friends, huh, Apple? I mean, sure we've only been dating for three days but how long can a boy wait?"
He stared at her. "I suppose..." He mumbled, and stuck her back into his pocket, straightened his hair and robes, and headed for their secret meeting place.
Draco couldn't help but gazing out of the windows, no sign of the moon yet, but it was going to be rising soon. The stars weren't out yet, but he couldn't wait until they were. He and Apple were going to sit and look at them as celebration of their three-day anniversary, she just didn't know it yet.
He reached the room, and knocked three times slowly. The door swung open and Draco was pulled in, "Watch it, Crabbe." He growled, fixing himself.
"Sorry," he grunted.
"So..." Goyle began, "Where is she?"
Draco grinned, and without a second of hesitation, lifted Apple from his pockets, and held her up high. "My Dearest Friends, here she is! Apple!"
It was silent. Dead silent. Draco had to move his gaze from Apple to make sure Crabbe and Goyle were still there. They're fat mouths were hanging open, and they're eyes were glazed over. They looked limp. Draco felt a sudden urge to hide and protect Apple.
He stowed her in his robes as he snapped his slim pale fingers in front of their faces. "Come on, snap out of it!"
They're mouths snapped shot, and they blinked repeatedly. "Sorry," Goyle grunted, "She was just so...what is her name?"
"Apple." Draco felt protective.
"I like her." Crabbe grunted.
Draco shot him a glare. "Well she's mine." With that, Draco stormed from the room, heading for the dorm. How could he stand letting Apple sleep in her draw with those two sleeping in the beds just across from him? No, she'll have to sleep with him. He grunted as he reached his dorm, slamming the door shut behind him.
He felt so...unhappy showing Apple to Crabbe and Goyle. He felt as if they'd want to take her away from him.
He couldn't let that happen. "Sorry, Apple." He said, kissing her sweet green skin. "We're going to bed early tonight."
And with that, Draco prepared for bed, crawling under his blanket with Apple beside him, and pretend to be fast asleep when Crabbe and Goyle stumbled in minutes later. They weren't going to lay a dirty paw on her. He wouldn't allow it.
