The Lost Room

King Man

Archie was standing in his socks and underwear.
Behind him was a drop into a valley.
The rain slowly started hitting him.
For the past hour he had been receiving punches and kicks when he was tied to a steel chair.
His legs had whip marks and his blood had dried on his legs and hands and face.
Archie's right hand was shaking uncontrollably from pain, his face was blooded and his right eye was closed and swollen, his jaw, neck and head hurt so badly he fell unconcious 2 times in the past hour.
He was in too much pain to straighten up.

Before Archie was a polished black car with blacked out windows being flanked by 2 men in dark suits. The car's lights were as bright as possible obscuring Archie's vision.
Archie knew his life was terminate and his last roll of the dice wasnt great. He had gotten involved with the wrong folk.

A door on the car opened and out stepped an elderly man dressed in a suit with a long black coat and scarf, circular spectacles sat expensively on his nose, his hat sat tight on his head.

Till Hans had never met Archie before.
What Till knew was that Archie stole his money and wasted his time, failed to deliver.
Till walked up to Archie.

"Mr Archie Jackson" started Till his voice was husky and very deep for such an old looking man "the pyramide?" he asked, his right hand was outstretched palm up waiting to be handed something, his other hand held an old Bayard.
The cold air had made Archie's heavy breathing visible.

Archie exhaled deeply and said nothing, stood there in the car lights.

"The Pyramide?" he asked once again, his accent was strong.

Archie's hand stopped shaking and he managed to stand up straight regardless of the pain.

Archie never spoke, never moved, and never breathed again. He fell backwards. Dead. There was no entry wound from a bullet.

Till put his gun away.

"Der fährmann kümmert sich jetzt um sie" spat Till Hans.
