I know I should've listened to Dick and Bruce, but where's the fun in listening to them? I will admit, I've been acting a little differently than I normally do, but that doesn't mean that there's something wrong with me. I think they're the ones going crazy. I mean, Bruce has an adopting problem. He's constantly adopting kids when he needs a new Robin, and I'm sure that Damian's turn as Robin is about up.

I land on the roof of the abandoned hospital. The last time I came here was when I was in high school. I would come here in my free time, which I almost never got.

I look around and notice a note that sits on a wooden crate. Cautiously, I stalk towards it. I grabbed the note. It's a light yellow sheet of crumpled paper, on it, there's neat-ish handwriting:

Dear Red,

Go to the train station, I'll be waiting.

I look at the note in confusion, why did he ask me to come here if he wants to meet at the train station?

"Please don't make me chase you around," I sigh as I grapple away.

--

There's no one at the train station, the only area that's still open is the gift shop. I walk over to the shop and peered in, there I found a woman. My, was she lovely. She was tall, tan, beautiful green eyes, black hair with blonde streaks. She's just the perfect woman. But right now, I can't be gawking, I have a mission, and it's to find that red hooded man. Before I could turn away, I notice a vase of carnations sitting on the counter. There, between the pretty pink and yellow flowers, was a light yellow note.

"Excuse me, miss?" I question as I enter the store.

"Oh my god!" She jumped up, "Red Robin, it's you," I chuckle and walked closer to the girl. "I thought the man on the phone was joking, but you really stopped by!" Her gummy smile nearly touched both of her ears.

"What guy?" I asked, raising a brow.

"I don't even know his name, he never gave me one," she sighed. "All he said was that he wanted a vase full of carnations and a note that was in our mailbox. I didn't even realize he slipped a note in there, but he asked for me to put it in with the carnations." She scrunched up her nose, probably trying to figure out what that man was trying to do.

"May I have a look at it?"

"Absolutely!" She pushed the vase that I saw from the window over towards me.

I picked up the folded piece of paper. This time it's not crumpled, and the writing on it is neat.

Dear Red,

Hey Birdie! I hope you enjoy the carnations. I remember you saying that they're your favorite flower.

Come meet me at Gotham Bank.

"What the hell is this guy doing?" I asked. It was starting to annoy me, but I was enjoying it. I have to admit, the cat and mouse game is kind of thrilling. I mean, the thought of someone playing this type of game with me - I wonder what's going to happen when I find him.

"Is everything okay?" I looked over to my side to see the girl is standing next to me, "is it from your boyfriend?" She chuckled.

"N-no, he's just a friend!" I sighed and smiled slightly at the note.

"Sweets," she places an arm on my shoulder. "You guys have chemistry." With that, the girl walked away. She disappeared into a back room. Gone from my view and gone from my life. My smile just grew wider.

--

I landed on a building next to Gotham Bank. Looking over at the bank, I could see a man standing there. It looked like they were leaning over the edge of railing that lines the roof. It looked like he was enjoying the breeze that was blowing through the air.

Sighing, I took the leap of faith down to the bank.

"Look who actually came," the man's voice chuckled.

"Yeah, well I had some free time." The man stood up straight and stared at me. He's still wearing his red helmet, but his outfit looks a bit different. Instead of wearing a brown jacket, he was wearing a sleeveless red hoodie. "What's with the getup?" I smirked, causing him to examine himself.

"Oh yeah, my other close are in the wash."

"What? You don't wash them in the morning?" I laughed a bit too loud.

"Yeah, well I don't have a butler and after this I have to go straight to my job and then come back home and sleep for maybe an hour or two." He raised a brow, "so I never really have time to think about my close until it's too late." He chuckled through his distorted voice.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, I just never thought I'd see you in 'at home' clothes."

"We if you have put up with me for a bit longer, then you can see a lot more than just my 'at home clothes'." He smirked, making me blush red.

As I tried to compose myself, the man started to trudge my way. I looked up at the towering man. His helmet hid his eyes, I couldn't see his face, his expression. I couldn't tell if he was faking, or being for real.

"Please don't come near me," I sucked in some air as I pushed him away.

"Don't do this, I just came back and I don't want to lose you." Nothing he was saying was making any sense. How does he know my name? Why does he act like we were close? What does he mean by 'just came back'?

"I came here for you to explain how you know my identity, not for you to play." I looked down.

He used his thumb and index fingered to slowly lift my head up, with his other hand, he took off his helmet. I got a decent look at his face, but he didn't seem familiar to me. His hair was a shaggy black mess with a white streak falling down in front of his face. I couldn't see his eyes thanks to his domino mask. The one thing that could show me his real expression.

"Don't worry about that," his lips curled at the tips. From the looks of it, his lips were soft. I wanted to see for myself, but I couldn't move. I didn't want to. He half laughed as he slowly moved closer. His face inches from mine. Our breaths were intertwining.

--

I couldn't stand the thought of moving away. His lips were so soft and warm. I couldn't help but to fall further into his grasp.

But unfortunately, good things must come to an end. He had to disappear and I had to go home. Even though I'm 18, I still act like I'm 15 sneaking back home after going out for the night.

I quickly got out of my suit and in a pair of pjs. My mind was running a thousand miles per hour. A smile kept slipping onto my lips. All I could think about was the kiss that I shared with Red Hood. He never told me his real name, but at least I have a name for him. A name to a semi face just so I could dream about him.
