"I'm the luckiest person alive." Hunter claims proudly. "Vanessa Summers, hottest girl in our school is my English partner."

Nick fist bumps him at this and I just laugh. "Dude, I'd kill to be in your place." Nick says. "How long until you bang her?"

All of a sudden I notice Alison walking with some guy. Crazy how in this crowded hallway, I can spot her. She's looking over at me and I immediately nod at her. I quickly check to see if Hunter or Nick notice. Luckily they don't. I'd rather not have them make fun of me for that right now.

As I walk past her, my lips brush her soft hair. "Checking me out, huh?" I smirk, and she blushes instantly.

I was honestly hoping she'd get mad and make some smart remark. It's always funny when she does, and I'm not even gonna lie, it's kinda cute. But she doesn't.

Although I turn around to take one last glance at her and she turns around as well and looks at me. I wink, causing her to roll her eyes and look away. Perfect.

"Chaz?" Nick asks. "Did you not hear what I just said?"

I snap back into reality. "What?"

He sighs. "I said I pity you, having Alison as your partner and all. "You won't be getting any action for a long time."

I laugh. "Don't worry, I'm still gonna get laid, just not by her."

"Which book are you doing for the project anyway?" Hunter asks.

"Romeo and Juliet."

"Shit, Chaz. Switch with me. Vanessa and I are doing Hamlet. At least if we did Romeo and Juliet I'd get an excuse to make out with her."

Before I can respond, the warning bell rings for first period. Considering how far we are from English, we could maybe make it on time if we ran.

The three of us head to class, making it just on time. As I walk towards Alison, already sitting in her seat, Nick slaps my back.

"Have fun with your girlfriend." He smirks.

"Funny." I mutter.

Alison

"So I'm guessing that study date with Chaz went amazing considering you didn't call once" Ryan grins.

"It was anything but amazing." I mutter. "He's more obnoxious than I thought."

"Just promise me you'll invite me to your wedding." He teases me.

I pretend to gag as we walk along the crowded hallway. All of a sudden I come to a stop.

"Speak of the devil," I groan.

I spot Chaz not too far away along with Hunter and Nick. Why do they always have to be with him? I'm surprised they didn't show up at my house with him too. He catches me staring at him and before I can look away he nods at me and with a slight smile. But then Nick says something to him and he just looks right through me.

"I know I'm not the only one that saw that." Ryan says. "Chaz Carter definitely nodded at you."

Just as the three walk past us, Chaz leans over toward me.
