1889 Klondike Gold Rush

first day in Seattle

DAY -1 Dear Diary,

Okay so me and my dog lucky just got off the train from Louisiana and we are here in Seattle I'm so Excited my dog was exhausted and so am I but we had to go to the store I have to conversation with the two store clerks named Bob and Billy they own the store called ball and Billy Goods Incorporated and quote Incorporated I asked them okay guys I'm going to the gold mine what will I need Billy said you're going to need a lot of money here since you're going to Alaska you're going to need a lot of snow coats I came out of there and not having much money left lucky was looking at me disappointedly but hey it happens okay so what I got from Bob and Billy are an ax a pickaxe let's see shovel rope and a chance and for clothes I got some long dirty winter snow boots and a fluffy coat so on the way to go find hotels for the month me and lucky you were walking around Seattle it was really cold wet and rainy and Wendy so when we finally found the hotel to live in It was time to get some rest P.S. it's really cold in here
