The school hallways echos with footsteps, as students from different classes almost flooded their way to the cafeteria.
As the bustling students continued, one student took a stairway at the locked rooftop, confidence exudes from his carefree posture.
Although the door to the rooftop is closed, he uses a copy of the key to open the rooftop that he shamelessly copied from when he borrowed the original once upon a time.
The stairs echoed with lonely footsteps made by one student. The student in question often went to the rooftop with his friend, yet this time, for the past three weeks, he spent it alone.
For the past three weeks, he reminisce this new feeling yet completely known to him from unknown reasons.
Sighing at the thought, his black hair swayed at his movement, revealing a stitch-like birthmark across his forehead. One that doesn't exist from both his parents.
Reaching the rooftop door, he spotted his only friend from the past year, surrounded by two girls with various origins and hair colour, right outside in the rooftop. The how did they unlock the door didn't matter as much as the image before him.
His blue hair swayed by the wind, accompanied by an awkward laughs from him and the two girls that surrounds him, sharing a meal together like a family...
An image flash in his mind of unknown origins, yet he felt melancholic, as he watched two girls bonding over competing with one another for his "friend", who only laughed awkwardly.
The long stare that perceived by the black haired only lasted a glance in reality. Yet, at that glance his perception of his supposed friendship was challenged.
For the year in a half, they were partnered in almost every duo activities, even talking after everything was done, it eventually developed into friendship....
'Was it really that easy? '
'Ofcourse, not'
'Was he really that easy to please? '
'... '
'Did Shido even took initiative? '
'... '
'Am I friends with Shido because he was alone, or I'm friends with Shido because I was lonely'
Questions imerge from himself over the fragility of his concept of friendship. Yet, one question stand alone.
'Is this how Satoru felt? '
The thoughts of the boy, paused.
'Whose Satoru?... '
Comparing the loneliness at the bottom and loneliness at top, the boy couldn't help but question.
Yet, being lonely because no one can understand and reach you, and being lonely because no one wants to reach and understand you, all sounds too similar yet different at the same time.
This two comparisons lingers inside his mind, yet the boy remained clueless at the topic.
The boy couldn't help but exhale, letting his thoughts and feelings linger without restrictions. Letting the seeds of thoughts to bear it's fruits. Letting time to make it ripe, yet... The time given to him in his lonesome was a short time for it to bare it's fruits fully ripe of wisdom.
His soul took its little shape, from his unripe conviction.
He comb his hair with a smile, and revealing his "birthmark" for the world to bare. Turning back at the stairway and looking down.
He spots three girls with various colours of hair and fashion sense on their mandatory uniform, happily conversing with one another, before looking up at him.
The smile remained on his face, as he started to go down the stairs.
Staring at the three girls of which names he forgotten, he states with a smirk.
"Here's a tea, Shido Itsuka having a threesome on the rooftop for the world to bare."
The boy proudly stating as he left, letting his short hair fall again.
