And before we start as said in the other book (if you read that), I am only writing this to keep me distracted momentarily. If that distraction happens to last up to 3 months or a week, then so be it. So I am saying right now, don't expect a full story. (yet. I've yet to decide to make a full commitment to writing again.)

Hopefully you all enjoy the writing, I think I did, now please enjoy.

Space, a vast emptiness of endless, mind-numbing darkness, the abode of the cold and the lonely. It was the place of death, the end of all living things, and even the eternal stars seemed dead and cold when viewed from its empty depths.

Yet it was in this place of emptiness and death that a ship traveled. To be more specific it was 12 ships. It was an odd thing, the 12 ships all flying in the same direction. It's journey was to a dead exo-planet, its residence of the once populating planet thriving until being brutally murdered, homeland taken over by hunks of barley sentient scrap metal.

Within these pods held no astronauts, but 3 types of drones each. Disassembly Drones, each given a singular letter. In one of these pods sat 3 of these DD's, visors black, body's limp and hunched over. Two females and one male. The three each had an armband with a unique number sequence to be identified more easily, with a letter at the end of the number sequence. Serial Designation J, Serial Designation N, and Serial Designation V. The three monitors flickered to life, a cartoon male in a yellow striped suit appearing on screen, a big ol happy grin downing his features, followed with perfect posture, hands folded behind his back.

"Hate it when worker drones accidentally kill off the planet, killing off every poor innocent human and dogs?" The animated man questioned, showing a drawn dippiction of workers killing humans. "Well fear not as it happens to all of us! It's a common mistake in this business, which is where your job comes in! Just kill off all those pesky little worker drones plaguing this poor planet, and you get to come back home. And on top of that, if you get more kills than the other teams, you get a special reward monthly, so rack up as many kills as you can get! It's as easy as that! So be sure to get to work on terminating all these horrid workers as soon as possible!" The cartoon cheered. "You'll want to keep them all in one place, so try building a fortress with their carcasses. Your group leader will give further instructions later on. Oh, and remember, be sure to have fun!" With that the joyful animation ended.

The lights above flickered, before going dark, a bright red glow illuminating the pod, and the drones within, lines of code illuminating their visor, scrolling by in the blink of an eye before disappearing. Not even a second later their landing pod smashed into the snowy grounds of the dead exo-planet Copper-9. exoplanet, sending the surrounding snow outwards in a large burst. The ship's interior lights flickered off, occasionally lit by the sparks from the now broken panels and monitors. The whirring of the pod's mechanics is all that's heard.

The darkness fortunately didn't last for long as 3 glowing neon yellow X's blipped into the darkness, the top of the ship opening with a clunk, metal scratching against itself. Sickening grins spread across the drones lips, razor sharp teeth lining the interior of their mouths.

In the blink of an eye they were gone, zipping out of the pod, bladed wings sprouting from their backs, lit by the moonlight, 3 bladed fingers on each hand. Looking down to their new prey, worker drones. The former looked on in confusion, and concerned by these new taller and bigger drones in the sky above them. Before anyone could react, one of the disassembly drones, Designation V, was quite eager and flew to the ground, slicing through a drone like butter, pouncing at another, her tail stabbing into a third drones visor, melting it from the inside, digging her teeth into the second drones neck.
