(This Andres POV of the last chapter)
I am sitting with the boys getting some drinks when I see the most beautiful girl sit down. She doesn't seem to speak as her friends are going crazy talking around her.
One of the girls I recognize as Meela, I think the other girl is Maddie I've seen her at other parties. But who is third girl, Meela has never brought her before. I place the drink down, and as I see her sit, her friends try to pull her up to go with them but, she pushes them away. They nod sadly and she sits. She gets what I believe is an ice tea. I see her drink abit and then she just mixes the drink, like she is thinking. Then she looks up and she just looks right at me, and in her eyes is a look of pain. Deep emotional pain. Who is this girl? I turn my head turning red and walk fast in the other direction. I see her look at me with confusion. Meela walks over to her and after some convincing she pulls her over to Tom and I. I feel myself staring again. Meela pulls my arm and takes me to a corner.
"Please don't make her feel uncomfortable." She looks at me wide eyed. I am confused.
"Is she deaf?" I ask.
"No dumb ass she's mute." I feel myself go red. That's the pain I saw her in her eyes. How could someone so precious go through something so terrible she no longer speaks.
"What what what happened?" I ask genuinely wanting to know.
"It's not my place to tell you the whole thing but remember the really bad car crash down on Walsh." I nod but look a bit confused.
"But the whole family died." I shake my head.
"No. There was one survivor. Her. She hasn't said a word sense."
"Oh my gosh. I am so sorry." My eyes go sad.
"It's fine just please stop staring at her."
"I am sorry it's just she is so beautiful." I see her smile big.
"Maybe you should tell her that. Or I don't know. Ask her out on a date." She says.
"You think." I wonder.
"I have a plan." She smiles. I don't know if I like where this is headed.
"Alright just fill me in." I tell her wanting to make sure she doesn't do anything drastic.
"I'll text you the details later." She nods me off
"Alright." We go back. She stands by Lyna. She looks at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I just explained." She tells her. She nods. She looks at Me and gives me a smile. There is a sadness to it. She looks over and sees Maddie talking to a player. Meela looks and smiles. Lyna pulls on her sleeve and signals to the door. She wants to leave. Meela looks at me and coughs at me.
"So do you dance?" I ask her. Her eyes go wide. Meela pushes her slightly forward. She shakes her head again.
"It's alright Lyna you should go dance." She shakes her head again.
"Come on I don't bite." She smiles and finally agrees to come dance with me. I pull her onto the dance floor and we dance. I spin her around and dip her and I take a good look at her. She is smiling and her hair is twisting around. She is so beautiful when she smiles. It sheds a light on everyone in the room. We are dancing when another song comes on and she pauses. I see tears come to her eyes. I go to reach for her but she runs. I look at Meela and she looks at me. I run after her. I was not going to give up on her. I follow her until we reach a park bench. I see her sitting on there silently sobbing. I look at her. I walk over and she looks up at me sadly eyes red from crying. I nod silently and sit by her pulling her into my arms comforting her as she cries. She is my one. I feel so much love for this girl. I was going to help her. I was going to put the broken pieces back together.
