Chapter 2

I woke up and hopped in the shower and did my hygiene. I put my robe on to go wake up the kids. I decided to go to Marcel's room first.

Amour: "Morning stinka." I smiled at my baby and picked him up and changed him. I walked back in my room and put him in the playpen. I walked to Boopie's room.

Amour: I gently shook her and pulled the covers back so I picked her up and made her stand up to wake the sleepiness off. Well she moaned and groaned but did what she's suppose to. "So you ready for school? It's your first day back baby."

Sapphire: "Yea because my friends will be there." I smiled at her.

Amour: "Well how about you wear your peach sundress with those rose gold sandals I bought for you?"

Sapphire: "Oooo mom that'll be cute! I'm so excited! Can you put my natural curls in today?"

Amour: "Sure baby so grab your dress and shoes and bring it to my room. You can dress in mommy room today." She grabbed her things,brushed her teeth, and we headed to my room to find Marcel to be knocked out again. I swear my baby loves his sleep.

I left the room to go grab a bottle for Marcel out the fridge and warmed it up. I jogged back up the stairs and fed him. Then I decided to put his Stephen Curry jersey on and his jean shorts with these cute little Timbs.

Sapphire: "I woke him up for you mom."

Amour: " Thank you baby. Mommy needs to hurry. I only have thirty minutes left before work." I kissed her cheek. "Ohhh look at you,you look very pretty Boopie. You ready for me to put the motorizer in your hair?" I placed Marcel back in the playpen.

Sapphire: "Yes." Once I was finished with her hair which only took 10 minutes because her hair is naturally curly. She brought her bookbag to my room and I noticed she fixed herself a bowl of cereal. I feel like I'm raising a 17 year old by the day. Well since she was ready I put on my secretary outfit.

Sapphire: "Mom you look good." She snapped her fingers all sassy.

Amour: I chuckled to myself. "I need to tell Aunt Katia to stop influencing you but thank you baby I always do." Hoping when I hit 30 I look just as good. "You ready your bus is here?"

Sapphire: "Yes." We walked to the door and I watched her get on the bus. I ran to get my purse and briefcase and buckled Marcel in and took him to my neighbors and headed off to work.

AT THE OFFICE
I walked to my desk at the front and turned my computer on to notice Yvonne walking my way.

Yvonne: "Hey girl."

Amour: "Hey." I noticed she kept staring at me. "What?!"

Yvonne: " Wellllll we're having a company party tonight. You know you always make excuses that you can't come. So we all really wanted you to come and have fun just get some time for yourself and maybe find a man." I heard her mumble.

Amour: I rolled my eyes. "Yea sure just let me call my neighbor. I'll come this time and this time only."

Yvonne: "Ooo I'm so happy. I'll see you there." She spinned on her heels and walked away. Yvonne is my girl and maybe I do need a man but I have my kids to worry about. Then this young guy walked in he was pretty decent and had his own vibe and style. He walked up to my desk.

???: "Um I'm here to see Mr. Reese." As he was writing his name down on the sheet.

Amour: "Did you book an appointment to see him?"

???: "Yes." He smiled at me.

Amour: "I'll call him and he'll be right with you here shortly." I ignored his smile. I'm really not in the mood. I dialed up my boss. "Hi,Mr. Reese there's a ---

???: "Kevin Cox." He winked at me.

Amour: "A Kevin Cox who says he booked an appointment with you sir. Yes...yes...alright I'll tell him sir. Bye bye. Hell like too see you now."

Kevin: "Oh okay and where do I go?" Still smiling at me.

Amour: I sighed and stood up to lean over. "Well Mr. Cox I thought you knew your way around. I thought you been here before or is it just because you wanted me to walk with you?" I smirked waiting for his answer.

Kevin: "Well yea to both." He smiled at me. "Cmon with your pretty self."

Amour: "Alright Mr. Cox lets go." Trying to shake off his compliment. I walked with him down the hall to Mr. Reese's office. It felt a little awkward until he had a question to asked while we're standing right at my boss door.

Kevin: "Can I get your name?"

Amour: "It was on my desk right in front of you Mr. Cox." I did sound kind of rude but I don't care.

Kevin: "I know but I just wanted to hear it out of your beautiful mouth."

Amour: "Charming and a little cocky. Anyways Mr. Reese is waiting and he's a very busy man." Hoping to get away quick as possible.

Kevin: "Oh alright. You are a tough one. I'll let you go now."

Amour: I chuckled to myself. "Mmm and you already know." I walked away and I felt him stare at me from behind and heard the door close. Thank god cuz I need a drink.

I already told my neighbor about tonight. Mama Loni is so nice and she already picked Sapphire up. So I decided to get that drink I wanted with Yvonne.

BAR&GRILL
Yvonne: "So wassup? Why we here? You barely drink."

Amour: "Well that's because I have kids and I need one since today was a rather interesting one. So this guy came into the office today and flirted with me." I shook my head.

Yvonne: Amour? Really? She laughed hella hard and I was confused. She called the waiter and ordered two Apple Martini's.

Amour: I sighed. "Well yes because you know I'm not fully comfortable with getting back into the dating game. I'm a mom Yvonne."

Yvonne: "And a damn sure 24 year old sexy ass one at that!" We both laughed. "Girl this is a sign from the heavens." She said all happily.

Amour: "Your point is? Am I suppose to be excited?"

Yvonne: "Well thank god I don't have any kids whew Jesus but really Amour think about it those kids need a father figure and you need someone to arch your back. Okayyyyy!" We high -fived each other.

Amour: "Ugh your so damn crazy but right at the same time. How bout I'll think about it and let's just worry bout tonight." The waiter came back with our drinks and we talked some more. Then I went home to get ready but first I want a nap.
