EVERYONE KNEW IVORY CHEYENNE-KATZ WAS LUCKY.
she was a famous streamer for christ's sake, but, they had no idea how far that luck went.
last month, ivy katz, a random live streamer from l.a., got a role in percy jackson as a girl named aria grace, a daughter of aphrodite. it was a small role, but, hey, it's a role in the brand new disney adaptation of percy jackson so, ivy was not complaining.
the day it happened started normal.
"i'm gonna fucking kill you, ruben!" ivy shouted, running towards her brother, who had stolen one of her favorite games, life is strange.
"you're so greedy! let me play it just once!!" ruben said, slamming his bedroom door. "i know y'all aren't slamming doors in my house." atari, her dad, shouted. "sorry!" the two shouted in unison.
"give me my game, asshole!" ivy said, slamming her body against the door to try and get him to open it.
suddenly, she got a call on skype. "hello?" she said. it was a video call so she turned her camera on.
"ivory katz?" the elder man asked. "that's me!" she smiled. "it's rick, is your father around?" rick asked. "uhh, yeah. dad!" she shouted for her father.
atari came running up the steps. "what happened? did ruben punch you again?" atari questioned. "no, rick called me." ivy smiled at her dad. "oh! rick, hey! what did you need?" atari asked. "i have news." rick said.
"sorry to disappoint you, but," rick began. ivy's face fell at the apology. "you're aria laurens!" rick smiled. her face lit back up and she screamed. "thank you so much for this opportunity, mr. riordan. it means the world." atari thanked. "yes!! thank you, rick! i'm so excited!" ivy squealed.
the skype call soon ended.
ivy decided to go live and tell her followers the news. she sat down at her pink desk.

"ivy's gonna be on percy jackson!" kaylee shouted. "kaylee! you know what karma's gonna—" ivy started but was interrupted by her sister, karma.
"bitch, what!!" karma tackled her sister with a hug. "y'all annoying as fuck.." ivy muttered. "we're just excited, you're gonna be on tv!!" kaylee squealed.
ivy ran back to her computer.
