When Alicia's door closes Lucia takes Avery's hand and leads her to the bedroom.
"What about your sister" the blonde asks as the vampire puts a hand on her chest and gently pushes her down on the mattress
"She said she was going to bed but most likely would take a ride on the Kawasaki before then. I bet she's leaving in 5..4..3..2..1"
They hear Alicia rummage around for the biker gear and the door swings open again
"Hey, sis I'll be back in an hour or two. Am going for a ride on Valkyrie" The dull thud of her boots receded to the front and out the door. A thought seems to dawn on Lucia and she quickly goes to the bathroom. Salem watches her as she cleans out the litter box and puts the clumps in a plastic bag.
"I'll feed you after I wash my hands" she reassures the black cat while going outside to put it in a trash bin. Meanwhile, Avery's eyes flutter open and close again as exhaustion begins to spread throughout her body. She shakes her head to try and stay awake to no avail. Looking down she wills the claws to come out to pinch herself. The werewolf winces as they start to grow before receding inside. By the time Lucia comes back she's sprawled out on the bed and lightly snoring. With a mischievous grin, she quietly closes her door before approaching. Leaning close she softly kisses her on the neck. When that doesn't work, she uses her fangs to lightly brush them across Avery's soft skin. After she starts applying a bit more pressure the werewolf bolts up and hits her with the pillow.
"Girl you are playing with fire now" she growls and quickly pounces across the bed. Lucia wriggles around trying hard not to laugh as she starts kissing and tickling her at the same time. They roll around before the vampire is on top and she lifts Avery's pajama shirt up. Hungrily she plants kisses on her chest down to the stomach with the occasional nibble. Her left hand snakes towards the pants and slides them under the fabric. Avery shivers as she feels a slight pressure as the fingers go inside her and bites her lip as the werewolf's fangs start to grow. Her heartbeat loudly thuds in her chest and her breath begins to quicken. She can feel the wolf bubbling to the surface this time and she lets out a short gasp before moving away.
"I'm sorry give me a second" Avery opens and closes her hands as they start to ache and tries to calm down. She could feel the urge to change recede and sighed in relief. With the second wind gone, she lies down and beckons for Lucia to do the same.
"Well, how about we get the restraints out? If you just want to sleep though I'd understand"
She looks over and sees that the werewolf is passed out again and curled up in a ball. As if an anchor is dragging her down to its depths she feels the pull of sleep.
"Well this is new" she groggily thinks before the darkness takes her. Her hand panickly reaches for Avery's and they hold each other until Alicia comes back hours later.
The blonde's nose twitches as a pleasant aroma of coffee with sugar and cream invades her senses. Stirring awake she rubs her eyes before looking over at an unbelievable sight. Lucia has her eyes closed but doesn't appear to be pretending to sleep. The dark circles under them are gone and she's peacefully smiling as if having a pleasant dream. Slowly getting up she tip-toed to the kitchen where Alicia is eating a breakfast taco. Salem leaves her spot under the chair and rubs against Avery in greeting.
"Wow a cat that finally doesn't hate me" She scratches them behind the ear and she purrs while leaning into her hand.
"She's always been a people person doesn't matter if you're human or supernatural. Never gave any indication that Lucia became a vampire months ago just kept treating her the same"Alicia reaches into a brown paper bag and tosses her a taco wrapped in foil. She easily catches it and opens it up as reverently as if receiving a present on Christmas. Her mouth waters as she slowly eats it not wanting to be messy in front of the cop. They sit in companionable silence until Lucia joins them. Avery can tell the changes aren't just physical, she seems to be brimming with energy waiting to be expended.
"I need to be in bed with you more often have not slept this well since I was human" She wraps her arms around the werewolf and plants a loud kiss on her forehead. Her sister hands her a coffee and she slowly sips it.
"How's the hunger you haven't drunk since the day before" Avery looks at her in concern and gets a boop on the nose in return.
"I'll go hunting after dropping you off at your place. It is easier to resist now that I'm not sleep-deprived" She happily hums as she goes back in her room to get the car keys and purse. Alicia watches her with a flabbergasted look on her face before reaching for another taco.
"Vampires don't sleep usually, not sure if they can't or don't need to or if it's a little bit of both. For some reason, she was able to today, and guess it energized her" Avery explains before she's whisked away and mouths "help me" to Alicia as they go out the door. She laughs and shakes her head in return before deciding to finally go to sleep for a bit.
