Emma grumbled, rolling over to the family picture she had of her mom, twin brother, dad and two sisters. She wished she could go back to high-school everything was so simple then she thought.

She got dressed, walking over to wake up her kids. 'Jamie, time to wake up' She said knocking on her eldest daughter's door. She looked at Jamie's room covered in clothes and makeup scattered all over her desk. It was thanksgiving, it was her brother's turn to host. Emma often wondered how they are twins considering they are polar opposites.

She walked along the landing to her son's room. Knocking gently, she knew he was up. She could hear him shouting at his fortnite game while voice chatting with strangers. He probably shouldn't be talking to strangers but that's a problem for another day she thought.

AN HOUR LATER...

'I'm going to Costco anyone coming?' she called up the stairs to her kids. She had three, her youngest was at a sleepover which she was thankful for, three kids is plenty, she had no clue how her mom did it.

'I'm coming' Jamie yelled, coming down the stairs.

Costco was manic. Probably because it was thanksgiving but it was crazily busy. She looked to her right, people were fighting over frozen turkeys. She looked to her left, not realising Jamie had disappeared. 'Great just what i need'. She looked down countless isles finally stopping at the bakery. She had found Jamie. Flirting with an older guy who looked about 36 but that was being nice. 'Let's go miss' She said placing both hands on her daughters shoulders.

The guy Jamie was flirting with, looked up at her. 'Emma' He said, embracing her in a hug. God it all came back to her. 'Jackson?' She said, pulling out of the hug looking shocked.

'While this is cute and all, we need to get going mom. We have to be at uncle Luke's in an hour' Jamie said, looking strangely at them both.

They both ignored her.

They were both starstruck.

God, she wished she was still in highschool.
