The Hero met the minor villain's family

They arrived at the territory gates and the knight that was assigned to check the carriage gasped when he saw who was inside and a smile immediately replaced the initial shock.

"Young master! Welcome back!" He greeted and Cale Henituse nodded at him, Raon already had his invisibility magic on so the cats were the only present and Choi Han. The guard then turned to Choi Han and greeted him as well "It was nice to see you again sir Choi Han!"

Choi Han also nodded at the knight.

"Let the carriage through! It's the young master! He's here!"

Cale sighed after hearing that as he murmured "They don't have to announce it.."

Once that announcement was made the nearby knights and people peeked at the carriage, Cale purposely left the window open as he glanced at the people waving at him as they passed, usually Cale would have preferred to arrive unnoticed but his Father wanted him to show his face to the people, after all they also wanted to know that their young master is doing well.

Cale Henituse just continued to give a small wave and a smile though Choi Han could see that he was slightly uncomfortable. Choi Han glanced at the window and even the people were also waving at him, so he nodded at them and smiled a little. The trip was short since no one dared to block their way as they headed towards the Henituse estate, Raon no longer became invisible as he peeked at the window.

"We are here, young master" Ron said and opened the door of the carriage as they all went down and headed to the main door.

"Welcome back, young master" Hans greeted them with a bright smile

"Hans!" The two kittens ran and pounced into the butler who knelt down with his arms open wide to catch the siblings, Raon also followed and hovered around him. "I miss you all! Everyone seems to be eating well since you are getting heavier, haha!" Hans said and bowed at Cale who only nodded at him.

"Orabuni!" Lily tried not to jog as she walked towards Cale who had a small smile on his face as he reached out to give her head a gentle pat.

"Did you just get taller?" Cale asked as he looked at her.

"She did, Hyung-nim, Welcome home" Basen greeted and smiled when he felt Cale's hand on his shoulder.

"Come inside everyone" Hans led them all inside.

Choi Han was the last one to get inside the house as he silently observed the people around him. Hong and On had shifted into their human form and were happily chatting with Lily and Basen, Raon was also joining their conversation as he floated beside Lily. Choi Han glanced at Cale Henituse who had a relaxed look on his face while observing his siblings and kids interact with each other.

When they arrived at the dining room Count Deruth– oh no Duke now, the Henituse family was now a duchy. As it should, after all their son was the one who saved the continent, it is the right thing to do- Duke Deruth welcomed them, he immediately went to his son and gave him a quick hug.

"it 's nice to see again Cale"

"It;s been a while indeed Father, sadly there was a change of schedule. I'd like to stay longer" Cale sighed.

"You could always refuse Cale" Duchess Violan said as she approached them, She still looked very elegant without a hair out of her bun as she greeted the rest of the people.

Duke Deruth chuckled, he knew that his son would not say no even if he could, after all it was the crown prince's request and knowing Cale he won't just sit down and do nothing when he knew something dangerous is threatening the people of their kingdom. Deruth is proud but as a Father he just wishes his son would sit his ass out instead of headbutting straight to danger.
