" BLONDIE! " Josette called out, smiling, percy let out a sigh of relief, seeing the girl in armor, from the helmet, to the metal over her waist, then to her knees. " I didn't know you were gonna be in capture the flag? "
Josette tilted her head, giving the boy a toothless smile. " And not watch you get your butt kicked? Yeah no. " Percy rolled his eyes, squinting at josette who held back a laugh.
Josette turned to an approaching luke and annabeth, fixing her posture. " Alright, we have 20 minutes before the second conch and game-on, you know what you're doing? Both of you? "
" Yes ma'am. "
" You got it. "
Before the two walked away, annabeth spoke, giving the duo a smirk. " Hey, today feel like a winning kinda day to you? " She tilted her head, looking between luke and josette, the curly haired girl stood up straight saluting her bestfriend.
" I'll see you on the other side. Ready for this bellmore? " Josette shrugged, smirking at the older boy. " When am i never ready. " she raised an eyebrow, luke smiled, before raising his sword. " Company! Run out " Josette followed behind, sighing.

They soon came across some of ares kids, which two targeted josette, for a reason she already, knew, josette bent slightly down, glaring at the two kids with red paint on their cheeks, she scoffed. " Trying to impress your father? knowing he doesn't care about yo — "

She was pushed to the floor, her sword falling out of her hands, their own swords sliding to her neck, josette clenched her jaw, glaring, she gripped both ends of their swords, picking her self up, going down to her knees.
sliding from front to back, their grip on their swords loosened from the sudden movement, letting josette take full control, flipping both swords to their handles, to strengthen her grip.
The kids growled, josette scrunched her face up in disgust, what are you, an animal?
One ran straight at her, josette sighed, putting her foot in between their legs as soon as he got close, her other hand with the sword pointing to his chin, she swung the sword to cut through the pants, then pushing the handle of the sword into the side of his knee, pushing the boy to the side, as she felt an arm go around her neck.
Josette fisted her hand, pushing her elbow back into the girls stomach, she wrapped her leg around her knee, pushing her knee, behind the girls knee, making her buckle down, she gripped the two swords harshly, putting them to both of the kids neck, one on the girls, one on the boys.
" We surrender! Okay? We surrender! " As soon and words came out of the girls mouth, josette dropped the swords, walking to the bush, to where they forced her black sword out of her hands, to go back in her possession.
" Next time, give up faster. " Her narrowed her eyes, glaring at the two siblings, who sat on the floor, not daring to stand up.

Percy was claimed, and she missed it, because of one of ares kids, all she remembered was fighting then a sharp pain to the back of her head, then she passed out, she was found by grover, who took her to the infirmary.
She was glad it was a minor hit, but yet she still had headaches, but she was okay enough to go to the choosing of a quest percy was chosen to go on.
Josette stood next to annabeth, hands placed behind her back, nervously biting her bottom lip, playing with her hair which was the length for her hands to reach.
" Annabeth! " Percy cut chiron, josette looked down to her feet, sighing, before looking to annabeth, a big smile on her face. " Congrats, annie. " Josette quietly giggled, though she was sad that percy didn't choose her, she was happy for annabeth to finally get the quest she so deserved to get.
And she was not gonna be bitter.
Josette heard whispering from percy and chiron, the man looked to the kids, his eyebrows furrowed. " Percy, has been given an exception, for at least two more people. But only one of his chosen group, is here, that is. Mrs Bellmore. "
Her eyes widened, her hands loosening from behind her back, she was fully in disbelief. It was only allowed two people, and josette knew one of those two people would obviously be grover, but it was grover, annabeth, josette, percy, and the other person percy chose.
She had yet to find out who it was, but she had a feeling, she was the brains of the group.
