" like, 1:59 is better than 2 o'clock, because 1:59 is on the edge. if each time was standing on a cliff, 1:59 would be on the edge of the cliff, because it has to jump to 2 o'clock, which would be on a whole other cliff. i've always thought there was some sort of unpredictability in standing on the edge.
