Chapter 7: Rescue

Spock's pov

I awaken to see Leela's face looking at me as she shook my shoulder.

"Spock wake up", said Lyanna

"I'm now woken Leela," I told her

"Well, good because I can hear some blaster fire in the distance which could be the Klingons," said Leela

"Perhaps then let us go and investigate," I told her and then turned to Leela again and said, "Lead the why,".

Leela nodded as she put her scratched and dented helmet on and slung her leather brown side bag onto her shoulders.

"Leela stop we need to collect some samples to study back at the enterprise," I told her

"OK then let us do that but we should call the enterprise they must be worried especially Jim," said Lyanna

"That is logically true so why don't you call them while I get the samples," said Spock

"Sounds good to me," said Leela, as she pulled out her communicator

Back at the enterprise

"Uhura have you made contact with the away team?" asked Jim

"No, but I'm receiving a transmission," said Uhura

"Patch it to the main screen Uhura," said Jim

"Jim have you got contact yet," asked Bones

"yes please go and get Bianca," said Jim

A few minutes later, Bianca and Bones came in.

"Have you got contact?" asked Bianca

"Yes, we do," said Jim with a smile on his face

"Hello, enterprise hello, enterprise can you hear me?" said the voice

"Yes, we can hear you loud and clear state who is this," said Jim

"This is Lieutenant Leela Pkie of the security department," said Leela

"Leela are you and that hobgoblin still alive?" asked Bones

"yes we still live," said Lyanna

"What about the other members," asked Jim

"they're dead killed one by one," said Lyanna

"Thanks for the report lieutenant" said Jim

"go back to whatever it was that you are doing,"

Lyanna nodded and ended the transmission.

I pulled Leela down to the bushes and hid to watch the Kilgon's activity as they sat around their fire they were laughing as they were getting a small girl (who was a perfect mix of Nelzok and the Queen) to dance for their entertainment while shooting their blaster fire onto the ground near her feet for some encouragement not to get fried but she looked exusheted

Lyanna's pov

Me and Spock carried on the look on in horror of what the Klingons were doing to Astoria

I turned to Spock and said to him "Spock can you create a distraction so I can take Astora away from the Kligons,"

"Yes but what would you do if they will see you," said Spock

"Oh what do I do best," said Lyanna

"Which is what?" asked Spock as he raised his left eyebrow

"I improvise," said Lyanna

I get out of my hiding spot pick up a rock and throw it at the biggest Kilgon who looks around and grumbles

"who threw this rock at me!" shouted the Kilgon

"Well, I did you bitch because, I challenge you to a fight to the death," said Lyanna

"What, are the terms," said the Kilgon

"The first one to draw blood from the other twice wins and if I win you have to give me your bat'leth (sword) and the girl," said Lyanna fiercely

"deal but if win I will get to kill you slowly," said the Klingon confidentiality

"OK but pass me a weapon," said Lyanna

the Klingon nodded his head and the second Klingon passed me his bat'leth (sword) for me to use

Spock stepped forward and said "Let the dual begin,"

I lock eyes with the Klingon and for his first move. He charged at me and tried to push me back but I pushed forward and kicked him instead he fell and I went to draw blood but he grabbed my arms which forced me to drop the bat'leth (sword) to the ground. The Klingon chucked and stabbed me into my arm where there was a patch of fabric and punched me in the face which my helmet fell off I groaned but then there was this feeling of power tingling inside of me like my spark had been ignited inside of me.

Spock's pov

I watch in horror as Leela is stabbed in the arm but something unexpected happens.

Leela floats off the ground but her chocolate brown turns into a bright blue and there is some light coming from her body.

Before I could think some more Leela raised her hand and a bright blue light came out of it which injured the Klingon across the cheek. Then Leela proceeded to get back onto to ground walked over and punched him hard in the face Leela grabbed his dragger stabbed it into the leg and continued to twist it until the Klingon dropped dead.

Leela turned to me with her eyes going back to normal looked at me with guilt and shame and said shakily "What have I done,"

"Leela you won so you get the bat'leth (sword) and we need to get Astora back to her parents," said Spock

She picks up her helmet and the won bat'leth (sword), while she does so the other two take the kilgon's body and run away.

The walk back to the village was tense and very quiet since Leela was in shock at what she did.

We walked into the throne room to where the Nelzok and queen had been waiting.

Nelzok looked and us and so did the queen. They thanked us and Leela gave them a sad smile and we walked out.

"how do you think Bones is going to react to I got stabbed and I beat a Kilgon?" asked Lyanna as we walked away

"he will probably be annoyed but impressed nonetheless," said Spock

My communicator went off I picked it up the the sound of the captains

"two to beam out Captain," said Spock

I suddenly felt my atoms being scattered as we beam up to the enterprise.

Lyanna's pov

Me and Spock get back to the enterprise to see Jim, Bianca and Leo there.

"see your mission was successful," said Jim

"Yes it was highly successful captain," said Spock

"Good I want a full report on it from both of you and Leela report to sick bay

"you got it, captain, " I tell him

I ran to my room and put on a T-shirt and leggings and then I went to sick bay.

"So you fought a Klingon huh," smirked Bones

"Yeah I did," said Lyanna

"Well, you did leave a nice trail of blood on my floor," said Bones

"Sorry about that...," said Lyanna

I felt my eyes close and the world became black around me as I fell asleep
