Eriks POV
I got on my knees and looked at Alexis. I took her in my arms and hugged her. Then I pulled her close and kisses her. She was everything I ever needed.
A:"Erik...he loves you..he never called anyone his father. Not even Jake...he loves you..I love you..
E:I love you too Alexis."
With that I carried her to the room and layed her on my bed. Lately, I would not let her out of my sight. Afraid that bastard would return. I was about to was away until Alexis grabbed my hand. I turn around to meet her eyes.
A:"Erik..sing to me..please..
E:As you wish."
I couldn't refuse those big brought shining eyes of hers. I sang to her.
Night time sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination

She was fast asleep. She loved lullabyes. Thats it! Ill compose a lullabye for my child. Alexis is sure to love it. Just as I walked out of the room Squelch came up to me with fear in his eyes.
S:"Master..you might want to see this...
E:What in God's sake is going on Squelch?!"
I whisper yelled afraid to wake Alexis. His eyes were filled with even more fear. At that momment I knew what she was afraid of.
E:"Does he know where you are? Did he follow you?
S:No Master...he is looking for Christine Daaé..she is not here sir..I am positive. I saw her leave.
E:...leave it to me. KEEP AN EYE ON ALEXIS AND KEVIN! Im counting on you Squelch. If anything bad happens, be sure to come and get me straight away..if she wakes..tell her I am busy composing. She doesnt bother me while I compose. Keep her safe Squelch.
S:Yes Master."
He bowed and I shook my head. Id hate to leave her alone but I cant let him find her. Alexis must stay safe. I ran thoughout the opera house staying in the shadows trying to find him. I get the the stage and see him standing there. Staying in the shadows I asked,
E:"May I ask for you business here Monsieur Vicomte."
He darted his head looking around.
R:"I know you have her you monster!! Where the hell is she!!
E:Why Monsieur, I can assure you that she left after I told her I no longer love her. I have not the slightest clue as to her location.
R:LIER!! SHE LEFT ME A NOTE SAYING SHE'D BE HERE WITH YOU!!SHE WOULD NOT LIE!!
E:Vicomte, she is not here. Did she say she loved you?
R:Yes and I know she does!!!!
E:Then why would she tell me she loved me and left you? Where did your wife dissappear to that night before you were wed? She was here with me.
R:No, she went to Meg. She wanted to say by-
E:For five hours Monsieur? This conversation is over. Leave! NOW!!
R:..."
He left in a fit of rage. I felt pity in him for a momemt before I remember what he did to Alexis. I held back my anger and went to make sure no one was snooping around.
Alexis POV
I woke up screaming and in tears from a nightmare. This weird looking guy who I assumed to be the new guard Erik hired came running in the room.
S:"Mademoiselle, are you ok? Shall I fetch Master Destler? Ill go ri-
A:No Squelch. I assure you im fine. Could you help me up?
S:Yes mademoiselle. "
Its hard to get up. I was very dizzy and felt hearvy on my feet. Only a month into the pregnancy and im already hating the symptoms. I felt my stomach turn and went to the bathroom throwing up.
S:"...oiselle! Ill .....rik!"
I could barely hear what Squelch was saying. My head started to get cloudy. I didnt want to pass out I tried staying conscious long enough for Squelch to get Erik.
E:"ALEXIS!! ...AY WITH M..!
K:MOMMY!!!...MY!!!.."
Then everything around me went black.
