Healing energy on me,
baby all I really need's one thing

The sun was slowly sinking to shine light on the other end of the world, taking along every trace of happiness that Naomi still felt while hanging out with Monica. They spent a good amount of time together, and now it was time for her to return back to the lonely tower. Naomi felt like Rapunzel, yet her imprisonment wasn't limited. She just felt too alone.

On some days, she enjoyed the loneliness, staying only in her own comfort and doing whatever she preferred, but as soon as that aching feeling in her chest returned – desperately calling for someone elses' presence, she tucked it down, ignoring it completely until it went away again.

Quietly, Naomi put off her heels and tiptoed across the marble floors in the living room, knowing that Jungkook could've easily heard the loud footsteps across the hall into his office in case he was in there.  With at least twenty shopping bags in her hold, all containing new dresses, heels, jewelry and whatever else she found worth of buying, Naomi struggled in order to get them upstairs. Her movements had to be quick so nobody else would notice the amount of brand new things that would soon be decorating her wardrobe.

It brought a smile on her face, all of the materialistic things made her heart happy and she felt a sense of accoplishment even if it was only temporary. She never showed her husband anything because she was afraid of his reaction. He would be disappointed and it would tear both of them apart even more.

In the meantime, Jungkook sat locked up in his office, not wanting any interruptions while he took care of some work calls and prepared for the meetings that awaited in the following days.  It was easy for him to shut off everything else once he was so immersed, but the slight thought at the back of his mind was still persistent on taking the lead this time. The talk he had with Jimin really kept him on a leash and Jungkook held a few things in his mind to get done around it.

It was nearing dinner time when the doorbell sounded, followed by faint voices and footsteps before the door to his office was knocked on. Without waiting for an answer, a smiley head peeked in, showing his assistant, Nadia.

"You didn't come to the office, and you're not answering your phone, so I brought you everything here." Her pearly white teeth flashed his vision as soon as she walked closer. Once she stopped in front of him, a look of disbelief crossed her face and her hand rested on her hip, brow raising. "Something happened. What is it?"

"I'm fine, Nadia. Really," Jungkook said, smiling her way and hoping it convinced her. She only sent him a glance before opening a file to put some documents in front of him and languidly, her eyes moved across his face for a moment longer.

She was the last person Jungkook had expected, but it was a good kind of surprise. Nadia always had his back, no matter what and it was no surprise when her abilities also consisted of seeing right through him. "I don't think you are, Jungkook." She sighed heavily and closed the file shut. "You've been distracted lately. For months. I can see that something's bothering you."

With an amused chuckle, Jungkook stood up and smothered a hand over his face. "Ah, I can't hide anything from you, can I?"

"No, you can't." Nadia smiled and tilted her head to the side, which moved her brown curls along. Jungkook knew that look on her face well enough, because he always got it when she was aware of him hiding something.

"I don't really want to talk about it." Jungkook admitted after a beat. "Not here, at least. You know how it is." His head motioned towards the door, hesitating since he wasn't very keen on talking about his personal issues, especially not at times when the house wasn't empty.
