Lauren's POV

I can see the sun creeping through the gap in the curtains, bringing light into the area where we all slept. I look down to see the small girl close to me still asleep. Her breathing was light against me and she seemed to have snuggled into me during the night. I sigh and rub my eyes as I get up leaving the brown haired girl asleep.

Searching the kitchen for stuff, I decide just to make up some coffee. I quickly pull my phone out to read through my Tumblr. I slowly glance up and notice Camila awakening. She still looks tired so I get up and make some coffee for both me and her. We sat quietly on the sofa together while we drank our coffee. I didn't want to make too much noise to wake Ally and Normani because I was liking this alone time with Camila.

It was quiet, it wasn't awkward but nice. I quickly turn around vanishing my thoughts to realise she was staring at me. Was she staring at me this full time? I began to question while looking into her brown eyes. Her eyes were even more beautiful up close and I couldn't pull myself to look away. There was something mesmerising about her eyes and that's when I knew that I was in love with Camila Cabello .....

***************************

The first week of school had went in relatively quick since the holidays. Lauren had been wakened to the noise of her phone going off. Twisting and turning, Lauren managed to reach out for her phone to see a text message from Camila appearing on the screen.

Camila: Hey. I was wondering if you would like to go out for lunch so we can get to know each other a bit better x

Lauren: Sounds like fun. I should be over within the next hour and then we can head out x

As Lauren stared at the text, a huge grin appeared on her face. She couldn't come to terms that Camila wanted to spend time alone with her. Without any struggle, Lauren managed to get out of bed to find her black jeans. She quickly put them on while searching for her Rolling Stones t shirt and put it over her head. While grabbing her shoes and black leather jacket she quickly exited the room. Sliding on her shoes, she got to her car to make her way over to get Camila.

Camila's POV

I was sitting nervously downstairs where I was accompanied by my parents and my younger sibling, Sofi. My leg was bouncing up and down from nerves and excitement. After out night over at Lauren's house, this was the first time it would just be the two of us. My heart was beating fast and I had no idea why because me and Lauren knew each other a little. The door bell rang and my breathing got heavier. Before standing up, I reassured myself that everything was going to be all right. I quickly took my green jacket and headed for the door. Opening the door, I was greeted by the older girl with a smile on her face. She seemed happy enough to see me and I have her a small smile before shutting the door behind me.

"So are we going then?" The older girl interrupted my train of thought and I just nodded in agreement.

We decided to go to a small cafe in town that she seemed familiar with. She explained that when she was little her dad use to bring her here all the time and they made the best pancakes. Lauren had made the choice easy for me and I agreed with her to share some pancakes together. It was enjoyable spending alone time together.

*****************************

Camila and Lauren had finished their pancakes and sat at the table talking about each other.

"So where are you originally from? Don't you miss it back home?" Lauren questioned looking at Camila.

"I'm originally from Miami, Florida" The small girl interrupted. "And yeah I do miss home a lot, there wasn't much too miss apart from my best friend. We've been on Skype quite a lot since I moved and she's coming here soon to stay for a while. It's really hard trying to cope without your best friend, we've knew each other since we were little and once I was told we were moving, I was really upset and I didn't know how I would cope".
