The new girl (A Camren fanfic)

Chapter 3

The past few weeks went in relatively quick. Camila was fitting right in with the other girls. They all got to know each other better and Camila enjoyed having them around. But, it was finally the day that Camila had been waiting for, the day her best friend, Dinah was visiting. Camila was patiently waiting at the airport for the other girl. In a few more minutes, Camila would be reunited with her best friend again. Camila slipped her phone into her pocket and she seen the taller girl walking towards her. A huge smile crept up on Camila's face as she was tackled with a hug.

"Hey Waltz, I missed you so much and we have so much to catch up on", the older girl explained.

"Yeah, it seems like forever and I missed you so much too, you have no idea". Camila explained.

The two girls were cut off in mid conversation as Camila's mum, Sinu was walking towards them. She greeted Dinah with a hug and took a hold of her bags to put them in the car. The journey wasn't long, but both girls managed to catch up on a few things, such as school. Camila explained that she met 3 new friends and they were invited over tonight but only if Dinah wanted. Dinah agreed. They finally arrived at the house and Dinah was looking out movies to watch. Before Camila could agree on a movie, the door bell rang and Dinah got up to look in the direction of the door to see the girls that Camila was talking about the full journey back to the house. Opening the door, Camila was greeted by the 3 girls and invited them in. One by one all the girls walked in. Ally and Normani quick to greet Dinah as they seem her standing and quickly got into conversation. Lauren walked in last however, giving off a small smirk in Camila's direction before walking by her. This made Camila blush and Lauren just laughed before going over to joining the other girls and allowing herself to welcome Dinah. All the girls were talking and Camila knew that Dinah could fit right in, she seemed to fit in with Normani the most as they found out more in common about each other. Camila moved from where all the girls were and quickly walked into the kitchen to make the popcorn. As she was working on making the popcorn, she felt hands grab onto her waist and a head lean on her shoulder. She turned around and there the green eyed girl stood with a smile on her face. Camila just smiled before getting back to what she was doing. However, Lauren didn't seem too happy that she didn't give her any recognition and kept begging for attention with hugging the petite girl from behind and sighing when Camila didn't pay much attention. Lauren and Camila made their way back to where the other girls were sitting and gave the popcorn to them while sitting on the sofa beside each other. Dinah had chosen a horror movie but all girls just agreed to it because it was her first day here but explained that she won't be picking the next film when they have a movie night. Throughout the movie, Lauren could see Camila getting scared as she hid behind the blankets that were placed over them. Before Lauren could react, Camila's head rested in the crook of her neck and Lauren just wrapped her arms around the smaller girl, tracing circles on her arm. Lauren could feel Camila's breath against her neck and this caused goosebumps all over Lauren's body. Lauren watched the rest of the movie with Camila in her arms and she was enjoying just being in this position because she really liked Camila. Camila moved her head to look up at Lauren with her brown eyes and smiled at her. The stare was intense but in a loving way, it was a battle of who would move their eyes onto something else. But before they could, Lauren felt lips pressing against hers. She didn't hold back and kissed the other girl back. Lauren felt Camila smile into the kiss and this made Lauren's heart explode, she was so in love with this girl. Their lips parted and Camila smiled at Lauren before cuddling back into her.

"Goodnight Camila" Lauren smiled.

"Goodnight Lauren" Camila quoted before quickly nodding off to sleep in Lauren's arms.

All the girls were hanging around with each other more and more everyday. Lauren enjoyed Camila's company even if she didn't know if they were a thing or not. Camila was in the kitchen and was making breakfast when Dinah came down seeming really happy.
