I was presently talking to my co - pilot as he said that we have to do the flight take off at 2 pm tomorrow. As I completed my call, I was going to make my way towards Sakshi but the sight that I saw made me freeze.
Arijit Sharma, my ex, my only love, the most important person in my life, my heartbreaker was standing there still. He was frozen just like me but the thing that shocked was the tears in the corner of his eyes. Why is he even crying? It is me who should cry.
I thought of ignoring him and was about to go but he pulled me by my wrist and kept his hands on my waist. He came down towards my ear by matching our height difference and spoke "I missed you Darling." And that's it. I slapped him hard making my friends to look at me. I saw them running towards us.
"Don't you even dare to touch me Arijit Sharma. Keep your dirty hands away from me with which you touched that girl. And dare to call me darling again and watch me rip off your tongue."
Arijit's POV :-
I came down to the hall where the party was being held in my black turtleneck cardigan and black jeans with my messy hair. I was impressed with my look. But I wanted to impress someone else more. My hazel eyed love. My DARLING.

I knew she was coming. Aayush informed me about it. Now I am standing here and I saw Sakshi and Aayush in a heated argument. On the other side I saw Anushka and Ranveer in each other's arm. What are they even doing? But I was least concerned about all of them. I was searching for my girl.
Then my eyes fell on her. She is so pretty. She looked absolutely like a goddess in that red bodycon side split. I could see some men gawking her. I wanted to rip their eyeballs off and chop it into pieces and bury it under the ground. Then she turned a little towards her left as she was talking to someone. I saw the heartbeat ring in her hand. It was the ring that was given by me when she officially became my girlfriend. She still wears it.

I freezed seeing that ring. I had tears in corner of my eyes. I love you darling. She turned around and saw me. Her body visibly stiffened but she took a deep breath and was about to go but I pulled her towards myself by her wrist and our chests collided. I said that I missed her and she looked at me for a second and slapped me.
I saw my brothers and her best friends coming beside us. I did not feel angry or hurt due to her slap. I deserved it. But the thing that hurt me was that when she did not let me touch her. Why Ankita why?
"I am genuinely sorry for what I did Ankita. I will not give any excuse. I hurt you, made you cry, cheated on you, used you as a pawn. I agree to all of this. But I got punishment as well darling. I repented whatever I did after you went away, spent restless days and sleepless nights. Please forgive me" I spoke feeling guilty.
Ankita replied to me by saying that "Cut the crap Cheater! I don't even want to talk to you. I came here for my two brothers and I am trying to maintain a cordial relationship with you just because of them only. Don't force me to even break the cordial relationship. I will never forget the way you left me all alone. You broke my heart and you were not even there to see my pain. I had to go through and I would have died without this two girls right here. They made me strong and happy again. So I don't want to lose my expensive personality given by them."
I couldn't stop my tears and I broke out crying "I am sorry darling. I broke your heart right? I will pick up the pieces and mend it again. I promise and I wouldn't give you any chance again to complain." Then she further told me something that broke my heart " You should have thought that before cheating on me. Clearly I have moved on now. And I would date guys also maybe." You can only wish for that darling.
"None of us will move on. Try to even date a guy and you will find his dead body wrapped and sent it to your house as a gift." I warned her and she glared at me. There's no moving on darling. Not for us atleast. I again tried to move forward but she shooed me away again and I felt super guilty. I remembered the times she used to be so clingy and stick to me all time. I miss it so fucking much.
"Why are you doing this Ankita? Can't you see that I am in pain? Is my tears not affecting you at all?" I managed to speak through my tears as I felt Ranveer's comforting hand on my back.
Ankita said with a bitter expression, tears forming in her eye " Where were you when I needed you the most? You left me alone just like my parents. Did you see when I was in pain? Were you there when I was dying? Were you there when I was crying? Were you there to wipe my tears? No, you were not. So now when I am finally happy and successful please stop acting. And even if you are not acting, let's just maintain a normal sane humane relationship."
By the time she completed saying all of these, I said her "Okay fine. You don't trust me. That's your decision. Nothing between us is normal and sane. We are insane together darling. I would do anything in this world to regain your trust even if it means going through a fire ball, I would gladly do that for you."
My darling spoke up "Let's see. You know there's a saying - The man who brags more is compensating for the smallest packages." Oh baby you will found out how wrong you are.
She pushed me and moved past me and went to Aayush who was seeing all of our fights as if he was watching a drama while eating a deviled crab. Bloody asshole. Sakshi is right about him. Darling told him something and I saw the three girls moving out most probably leaving the party. I know how much Ankita and her friends love food but couldn't eat the food so I asked Ranveer to pack food for them and go give it to them.
Anushka's POV :- We came out of the party as I saw Ankita breaking down. She was crying as if there's no tomorrow. Oh my poor girl. She has stopped crying and had become a monster after the heartbreak. But seems like Arijit was capable of bringing back the human in her. Sakshi and I hugged her and was comforting her when I saw Ranveer running and coming toward me
He came and spoke two words which took my breath away. MY LOVE......
