I am sorry if you all felt humiliated in any way and I am also sorry from Arijit's side. I will look after him. Take care. Get home safe." I spoke all of it in one go. I saw Anushka parting her plumpy lips and her eyes softening but it didn't last long. She again went back to her stoic demeanour and spoke,
Anushka's POV:-
I listened to whatever that flirt said . I mean he can be really good excluding the clingy behaviour. I finally said something after his god knows how much long speech.
" Thanks Flirt. I appreciate the concern. But don't expect that I am warming up to you coz that's impossible. And I would surely take care of Ankita. BTW let your brother Aayush know that I need to discuss something work related with him so I would meet him tomorrow. I wish you a very good night and ask Arijit to be in limits before I break his face. Thanks for the food though. Good night."
I turned to leave and I heard him saying back " Love, if you need any help breaking his face, I am always here. I would appoint some men to do that. And I love you. Good night"
I couldn't stop the smile that was threatening to come at my face but I still managed and turned " I don't need your help for that. I am not a weak girl. I am Anushka Shekhawat, the fucking Vice Chairman of Shekhawat Industries. So don't take me as any girl who would run to a man for help. I am a physical education student so it will be a ek hath ka chutki to break his face for me."
Ranveer spoke up. "No love. I don't consider you weak. I know you are the strongest. I don't have an idea about your physical strength but I am sure about your emotional and mental strength because I saw how you were on the verge of tears when you saw Ankita like that but still you managed to keep yourself strong for Sakshi and Ankita. So I don't think you are weak. I can never think that. And about taking my help, it was not for protecting you that I was offering my help. It was for accompanying you to let you know that you are never gonna be alone from now on. I don't want to do that because you are any girl. I would like to do that because you are MY GIRL."
I scoffed at his confidence but I could feel the zoo in my stomach. " Don't be so delusional. I am not your girl nor I will ever be. Bye Flirt. Have a very good night. Hope to never see you again. "
I turned on my heel and walked away swaying my hips in a confident manner. I walked over to my car where I saw that Sakshi is in the backseat going through her phone and Ankita is staring at nothingness but her tears have stopped. God please take care of my girls. They are my life. I drove off and dropped each of them home and finally freshened up, did my skincare and landed on my bed. It was a long day and finally I can breathe. Good night.
