ONESHOT

July 31, 8:00 AM

“Tomorrow is your Hirano-san’s birthday?” Kagiura’s best friend, Niibashi asked. His left eyebrow rose while repeating Kagiura's words “And you are planning on surprising him?” He added, the boy continuously looked at his friend with deep curiosity. Kagiura nodded his head like a puppy, his eyes gleaming with determination “Yes! So will you help me talk to his friend?”

“His friend?” Niibashi followed to his words “why do you need his friend?” He added. Kagiura slightly shrugged his shoulders “Well! I don't want them to be left out and I want their thoughts on my plan!” the boy replied with a grin plastered in his face. A sigh escaped from Niibashi’s lips, he can't refuse whatever his friend is planning especially Niibashi can see how happy Kagiura is while explaining to him.

Lunch Time

The two males headed towards the canteen and spotted one of Hirano’s friends. Of course, It was Kagiura who spotted them, not Niibashi. “I know that guy!” Kagiura pointed at the tall ginger haired guy who seemed to be talking with a short black haired boy. “He seems busy, do you think we should interrupt them?” Niibashi said, looking at where Kagiura’s finger is pointing. “You kouhais shouldn't be interrupting a couple’s time.” a teasing voice came from behind making both Nibashi and Kagiura jump by surprise.

“Hanzawa-sempai!”

They utter his name at the same time as they look at their back. They saw the dorm head standing close to them with a cheeky grin on his face, “Wait, couple?” Niibashi questioned. Repeating the words he heard early on and the dorm head before them nodded his head “Yes, Which is why you should not interrupt their time.” He continuously grinned cheekily at his two kouhais, after a few seconds Hanzawa asked “Is there anything you both need?” his cheeky smile turned into a slight smirk “I don't think Kagiura-chan would try to talk with Hirano’s friends out of nowhere, no?” he raised his bangs slightly while smirking at them. A sweat drops on Kagiura’s face as Hanzawa is right, he hasn't talked to any of Hirano’s friends out of nowhere like this. “I.. actually have something to propose.” The boy said while lowering his head as he looked down on the ground.

“Oh? You’re going to surprise Hirano tomorrow after class?” Hanzawa repeated Kagiura's word which the boy nodded “Yes.” The boy replied. “Weeell, I’ll gladly help!” The head dorm says with a clap and nodding his head. The ginger head boy suddenly came to their spot with the short black hair boy “Hanzawa, what's happening?” He says as he places his hand on top of the black haired boy beside him. “Sasaki! You actually had the thought of coming to us, that's great!” The man with bangs grinned while Sasaki raised his eyebrows at him “Well, because I saw you talking to Hirano's roommate and I have the feeling that something is going on.” as the dorm head heard what his classmate had said, his grin widened. “Well said Sasaki!” He congratulated sarcastically with a clap “In fact, there IS something going on!” The boy beside the ginger head tilted his head and raised his eyebrows “What is going on, Hanzawa-sempai?”

The two boys had their mouth shaped like an ‘O’ while their eyes were slightly widened, and soon enough the ginger head’s mouth formed into a smile “Ah, right. It is his birthday tomorrow, isn't it?” Hanzawa and Kagiura nodded their heads ”I almost forgot.” Sasaki added, which made the dorm head laugh and say “You Forgot, not Almost.” the ginger head boy scoffs, crossing his arms at the dorm head and replied “I Did not.” a little ‘Hmph’ let out of Sasaki while turning his head to another direction.

“You did”

“Did not!”

“You did!”

“I said I did not!”
