last year, my mental health was horrible, which caused me to have a lot bad days and thoughts of unaliving myself and being a burden to everyone. after going to therapy for quite some time now and taking prescribed medication, i decided to make a mood blanket this year (after attempting and failing two times).
a mood blanket or mental health blanket is an alternative to a temperature blanket that focuses on what mood you're going through each day. each color represents a mood. i didn't follow a specific color scheme like rainbows or ombre. i just grabbed yarn from my stash and made a chart and a pattern.some people do their mood blankets a little differently. you don't have to do rows. you can do shapes, clothing garment, amigurumi snake, etcetera. the options are endless, and at the end of the year, you'll end up with a beautiful project.
