Chapter 5: Mrs. Wong's advice

Taiju has been wondering all day about her, Y/N; This woman just managed to get him all hurled up in a hurricane just by seeing her tear.

For once in his life time, a woman got him wondering why he's such an asshole, and so he made a promise to himself, starting from that day on that once he left Yuzuha and Hakkai...

To whoever woman with a fragile heart he ends up with, he will not break her.

This includes his sister, and every women he encounters with... especially that darn brat, Y/N. 

He wishes for Hakkai to grow stronger and for Yuzuha to have the best. That was when he left them to raise themselves.

After the Christmas conflict, he lost his ego and became a full on cold man, he thought throughout and worked side jobs to build for his future of wanting to become a business man.

When he was helping with the transport of the canned good to the store, he saw that glance, a familiar figure and that star keychain on her bag, that was in fact Y/N.

"Y/N!", he unknowingly shouted and covered his mouth, he then quickly made it back in the store.

Meanwhile, Y/N looked around because she was sure she heard someone calling her but after that she just shrugged because maybe someone was calling someone that has the same name as hers.

Taiju was absolutely embarrassed, shocked and didn't know what he just did.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!", he mumbled to himself as he stocked the shelves.

His manager then taps his back since she can't reach his shoulders because for Mrs. Wong, a 49 years old woman, he's really tall.

"Shiba, is there a problem?", Mrs. Wong asks softly with a warm smile.

"It's really nothing Mrs. Satou, it's something personal.", he says as he continuous to stock the shelf.

"Ooh, I insist. Let Mui do the stocking, you need to take a break as well!"

Taiju just nodded with Mrs. Wong's kindness and went to the break room with her where Mrs. Wong made tea for the both of them.

"So what seems to bother you Shiba?", Mrs. Wong asks as she adjusts her glasses.

"Well... Mrs. Wong a woman has been bothering me. This strong yet emotionally fragile woman. Somehow she manages to beat me up and destroy my pride as a man but then she cries for a man she likes. I hate it when she cries or if she acts like some kind of annoying wild cat.", Taiju says.

"Earlier, I saw her and then unknowingly called her, I don't know what's happening to me Mrs. Wong... I really don't.", he says as he strokes his hair back, seemingly very stressed of his dilemma.

Mrs. Wong chuckles as she sips her tea and once she put it down she laughs.

"You youngsters all are the same, you're afraid.", Mrs. Wong says as she looked at Taiju with her arms crossed.

"How? Mrs. Wong, I'm not like any youngsters as you say...", Taiju said, looking down. 

"Like I've said, you're all the same; You teenagers always say that you're different from each other but all of you are afraid! Oh... The good old days, Shiba, you don't always think from the brain, you have to think from the heart as well.", Mrs. Wong said.

"You're in love and you're denying it. Gosh you remind me of my daughter, I still remember the very day she said she was in love with her husband, now she's 25 and married. Good for her. She was afraid of loving, just like you. Because you wanna know why? All of you youngsters aren't afraid of the present, it's what will happen in the future.", Mrs. Wong added.

"Afraid of being down, afraid of the commitment that will come with it, but all of that will come someday, you youngsters always think ahead to the point where you forget to learn from your past and present, you forget to think in the haze of love to the point of immaturity. All of you become so self centered when in love, that's why you have to grow up! Learn to love properly, not dumbassly.", Mrs. Wong added once more.

"My only advice to you Shiba, tell that woman you love her while it's still early so it wouldn't hurt while it lasts.", Mrs. Wong ended with a sighed as she smiled softly at Taiju patting his back.

Taiju understands Mrs. Wong's point, he just doesn't get that Mrs. Wong was saying he was in love...

In conclusion, Taiju was in love but denying it because he just thinks it's just so impossible. He doesn't understand his own emotions, therefore not understanding or feeling others unless faced it in front of his face.

Taiju fought with his emotions for a while and found out that Mrs. Wong was right but he kept his thoughts kept and worked harder and had an inspiration to build a better future for him... and even possibly, for her.
