GWAIN PARADOX ep5/2 Katrina's side

In the morning Katrina walked from the hotel keeping a simple profile, Leaving her sophisticated wingsuit for a more compact fabric wingsuit.

She went to a shop and bought her a nice jacket to fit in.

The streets are busy in the main square. This reminds her of the inkopolis square back in her time. She feels right at home.

She ready's her grapple hook and launches herself off the floor against a building. She unfolds and coast against the wind with extra speed from the grapple hook.

And spots a group of the scorpion bull gang members. She proceeds to approach the soldiers and ask them where Gwain's castle is. They attacked Katrina because they knew her, she had a bounty on her head.

Katrina knocks one out with her energy shield like a Frisby and runs to a cliff. Katrina backflips off the cliff gaining her style points but it's not a cliff, but a mud slope.

She stuck the landing but now sliding down. 10 gang members followed her down. She ready's her shield and prepares for the worst. All of them having guns, she was fired upon.

Katrina lays down while still sliding and tosses her shield on each of them, Not missing a target. While Defending herself, more came on dirt bikes.

Katrina has a bright idea, she grapples onto one of the bikers then knocks the guy off the bike, now taking control and full throttling. Going at speeds of 100mph she sees the edge of the cliff and looks behind. Then to the front, she's going to jump. Now starting to wheelie, the bike takes flight and Katrina lets go.

Now skydiving she regained some of her oxygen levels back. There's two more remaining. Katrina spots one and throws her shield at him, She scores a Direct hit.

She reopens her wing suit but was caught from the leg and was brought down with the gang member On a stack of hay. She leaps out of the hay bale and falls to the ground. The soldier now has a devious look on his face.

Katrina froze up, she was out of luck. Out of nowhere an arrow slashed the soldier. Now he's unconscious.

(Ami) are you ok? (Katrina) yeah not really. (Ami) can you walk? (Katrina) "I don't think so, But I'll try." She struggled to stand up but succeeded. (Ami) you want to stop by our place? "If you want to, that's your decision," said Katrina. (Ami) then let's go. (Katrina) GO SLOW, please.

"Alright then," said Ami. Katrina follows Ami to her place. The door was opened by Ami, and everyone was shocked by who they saw. (Deva) YOU LET HER IN THIS HOUSE! WHAT IF SHE KILLS US? (Ami) Calm down, it's just a guest.

(Marlow) OH HI THERE! Fancy seeing you here. (Katrina) "Well hi everyone." Lanney, holding dishes, took one glance at Katrina and welcomed her. (Lanney) "Hii!" Katrina waved back and asked. "Where can I sit?"

(Deva) "you can't sit anywhere because you are dirty. I have an idea. Just stand up! But I guess You can leave and go to the ocean. There's a beach half a mile from here."

(Katrina) Well do you guys want to go? (Ami) I do have to collect some crystals. (Lanney) I would like to go out. (Marlow) sounds good to me. (Lanney) I heard there was a music festival tonight. (Katrina) "That's perfect."

They all agreed to go to the beach. (Marlow) So is it true that you're the one who took down that monster? If so, then you got my respect.

(Katrina) well.. You're welcome." The girls started walking to the beach, stopping on the sand nearby the soon-to-be festival.

Ami, collecting crystals, found random nun-chucks on the ground, so she took them and gave them to Deva. Deva was surprised.

Lanney was picking up seashells for herself. And Marlow was just sitting down.

(Katrina) Hey Lanney. (Lanney) Yes?

(Katrina) What do you think about my partner? (Lanney) He seems nice, maybe nervous.

(Katrina) "what do you say if Rico has a crush on you?" Lanney slightly blushes. (Lanney) I don't see that happening though. (Katrina) it's possible, just be on the lookout, alright?

(Lanney) Alright...

Soon the sun went down, and the full moon went up.

Now the festival is popping with tons of people dancing and having a nice time. (Katrina) you guys want ice cream? (Deva) "yeah sure!"

Katrina went to the ice cream shop in the festival and was bombarded by multiple members of the scorpion bull gang and she ran to the girls.

(Katrina) AM SO DONE WITH THESE PEOPLE! She says as she's sliding getting her shield ready.

The girls get into a defensive position. Katrina makes the first move by throwing her shield knocking 2.

Ami used her bow and her move, Pulse removal. She landed the shot near 5 soldiers and all were knocked unconscious.

Lanney used her rock gauntlets to knock out a gang member, she isn't like her innocent self anymore, being brave.

Deva utilized her nun-chunks that Ami gave her and hit 4 other soldiers. The soldiers retreated now knowing there not to be trifled with.

Katrina walked with the girls to the ice cream shop to get their servings.

The parlor nervously made ice cream for each and said, "It's free." (Katrina) thank you, have a nice day.

(Deva) "It was, until those buffoons came." Katrina sees Rico on a train. (Katrina) "Alright you guys, I got to go, he needs help."

But the train exploded launching Rico in the air, having a crash course to them. He stuck the landing but fell to the ground in exhaustion. (Katrina) "you good Rico?" Rico groaned. (end of Katrina's side of ep5)
