GWAIN PARADOX EP3 (Rico)

(Gwain) Why did you send warriors? 

(Twain) The target that they were chasing probably went into your land. 

(Gwain) Then why did two people in wingsuits arrive at my front door? 

(Twain) What do you mean? There weren't two people in wingsuits, they flew by themselves. I sent only the warriors.

 (Twain) Then who are they? 

(Gwain) I still need to ask them questions. 

(Twain) Also what happened to my warriors? They're supposed to be back by now!? 

(Gwain) Ummmmm... "I need to blow off some steam." she said nervously.

Gwain ended the call and walked out the castle. (Ami) Hey gwain! Wanna come with us? (Gwain) "hm, sure. I just wonder what those two people were yesterday."

The scene abruptly switches from calm to intense. In the heart of a battlefield Rico runs for every piece of cover he can find. With gunfire all around him, he returns fire. His destination was a small shed near a dug trench.

He held his position until he ran out of ammunition. In sheer panic. He lay down and played dead. Minutes passed and Rico looked up at the wrong moment and the enemy slashed his leg without hesitation. With Rico screaming in pain, gwain kills Rico with a stab to the head.

Rico wakes up upon the rising sun in the lush forest. It was a nightmare. The camera pans up, background music had a upbeat and The logo of the series is briefly shown. Rico hops off the tree he was sleeping on and wakes Katrina up. (Rico) wake up, we need to get moving.

Katrina wakes up and is shocked at how pretty the environment looks. (Katrina) Hey Rico. You ever just wanted to look around and adventure the land probably no one knows. (Rico) I mean this is new to us, I don't know. (Katrina) What time is it? (Rico) "It's 7am. Wow, we slept a lot".

Rico and Katrina Both stood up on their backs to take in the scenery. (Katrina) I want to talk about your brother. (Rico) What did he do?

(Katrina) If I remember, he had a plate carrier and a handgun. He was fending off these big people in rhino armor. Maybe the same people we fought yesterday... We were on a train; I was off duty and was heading back to my hometown. But he saved me at such timing, I didn't know the train was going to be derailed. (Rico) Hey after this, I might bring you back to your timeline, I Promise, after we're done with this. (Katrina) Hehe, ok, we have a long way to go.

The two hopped out of the tree and walked away. walking across the beautiful scenery, winds blew and trees rustled.

Rico started narrating in the background. (Rico) "You're still wondering how all of this happened, let's take you back all the way to the beginning. Currently the year is 2040, and I was born in 2016. When I was about, maybe 6, my parents dropped me off at a boot camp, never seeing them again. It's still interesting how the soldiers who were there at the time took care of me. I was a candidate for a secret operation, I enjoyed my time there tho.
