It was the end of summer. People were eagerly waiting for the rain to come. A group of college students were sitting on the marine drive and enjoying the evening. But they didn't know that they were making the best of their memories. Life was gonna get tough afterwards thought Aarohi while driving her way towards Gianis. Watching the group while passing the marine drive made her feel nostalgic. The time that their group spent was amazing. All of them were determined to meet each other every month but guess what the determination lost between the hustle of lives and today she was gonna meet her college group after 3.5 years. Though they were in contact via calls but they were limited to occasions. She parked her car and took her bag keeping the Kathak class bag on the backseat she stepped out. As soon as she came out she saw Aarush coming out of his car clad in a dark purple Kurta and white pants. If not more he looked as handsome as he was back then. Aarohi thought that she had successfully moved on from the one sided love and she had because never in this 3.5 years she had thought about him and she wasn't in contact with him too. But her heart betrayed and beat the fastest as soon as she saw him. Their eyes met and both gave each other a warm smile. She reached the door first. Aarush the golden boy of the college and one of the group member of her group. He had his charm with girls but never did he cross his lines. He respected girls and thought of them as an equal. And that was the thing that made her fall for him. When they first met she stammered. While others thought the she wasn't comfortable talking with males only she knew it was because HE was in front of her. He talked with her once or twice but then he preferred being a little distant from her. He was closer to Alisha, Ruhi and Kavya the 3 other girls of their grou. They were a group of 8 people,4 boys and 4 girls. She thought may be it was the way she dressed up or may be he was out of her league. So she used to see him from distance and make her heart happy because confessing him would take her multiple births. Guess what the heart did feel happy seeing him again.

As soon as Aarush came out of the car he saw Aarohi in a beautiful lilac anaarkali with the dark brown hair open and a bindi on the forehead that elevated her look. In the simple attire she looked so heavenly that he could not take eyes off her. Gone was the Aarohi who was timid and shy and who wore specks, was less confident and who could not meet eyes with people while talking or smiling at them. She had grown up to a beautiful confident and an independent woman and she looked towards him and gave him a smile and he was pretty blown away by the smile. Aarush was always attracted towards Aarohi not because of her looks but because of her soul and the way she was. In a group they both were the one who talked least with each other. In the beginning Aarush thought that may be it was because she was uncomfortable in talking with males and so he thought to give her space but then slowly slowly she gelled with Rahul, Vihaan and Krish but with him her vocab was limited to Hi, Bye and how are you. He thought may be he made her uncomfortable and so he didn't take a step forward. But little did he know the it was Aarush that had been living in her heart rent free since the first meet. Many be it was their fate. May be they were right people at wrong time.

"Hi"

"Hey Aarush how are you ? "

"I am good. And you? "

"I am also fine. " And she smiled at him. There was an awkward silence.

"Ummm... Andar chale? Baki sab wait kar rahe honge. " She said awkwardly.

"Yaa yaa.. Let's go. " He opened the door and gestured her to go first.

They went to the table where their friends were waiting for them.

" My my is this the same chasmish Aarohi Khanna? Who are you and what did you do to my innocent Aaru? " Said Krish.

"Shut up Krish. Aaj bhi tu aisa he hai. You haven't changed even a bit naa? Har baari flirt karna zaroori hai? "
