1 Year Before The Big Event, Forks Washington

"Tanya and family welcome to our home and thank you for coming and helping us deal with this problem."Carlisle greeted the Denali Coven as the group existed the large van they used when traveling together. Tanya had been very happy when she had gotten the phone call from Carlisle about his coven being targeted by a nomad who had created a bunch of newborns to kill all of them. She wasn't happy because the Cullens were targeted. Tanya was happy because this situation was what set in motion everything that led to the big event. When Tanya received Isabella's letter she could feel the excitement in Isabella's words when she explained the situation. Even Jane was unusually upbeat when she delivered the letter. They all knew that everything would come to a head soon and the kings would be killed. Then each of them could finally live their lives with their mates. Jane included as Isabella had found the small vampire's mate decades ago. Jane had met the woman but they hadn't completed the bond. The pair just like Isabella, Rosalie and Tanya and Athenodora and Colette had to wait until the kings were dead.

"It's no problem Carlisle. We would always come to your aide if you needed us."Tanya told him.

"Why don't you all come inside and we can discuss things."Carlisle suggested.

"Of course."Tanya took Rosalie's hand in her own and led the coven into the Cullen's large living room. There weren't enough places for everyone to sit so most of them stood. Tanya and Rosalie taking a love seat for themselves.

"Before we start I think you should meet Edward's human mate Jessica."Carlisle was nervous about having the Denali around the girl as they were strict on following the law. He hoped that they would let him explain before they cast judgment.

"Why is the girl still human?"Carmen asked.

"Edward plans on changing her after they get married."Carlisle explained.

Kate laughed."Let me guess he's waiting until they are married to have sex with her as well."

"What I do is none of your concern."Edward told her when he entered the living room with Jessica trailing behind him. He was very unhappy that Carlisle called on the Denali for help. He hated the family with a passion and didn't trust any of them. Especially Tanya and Rosalie. He had found it suspicious that Tanya's mate was immune to his gift just like she was. He was positive that Tanya did something to the girl but she had denied being involved claiming it was just an ingrained gift like her own. Something Edward did not believe.

"Anyway."Carlisle jumped in hoping to stop any fights from breaking out. It was common for Edward to pick a fight with all the members of the Denali even Rosalie who had never spoken a word to any of them. Carlisle understood Edward was wary of them but Carlisle had been friends with them for centuries and they had helped him many times through out the years. They had gone above and beyond to prove their loyalty."Everyone this Jessica Stanley."

"Hello."Jessica wasn't sure what to make of these vampires as Edward didn't have anything nice to say about them. The rest of the Cullens seemed to like them and had told her many positive things that the Denali had done for them and of happy times they spent together. Jessica had decided that she would form an opinion after she spent some time with them.

"Nice to meet you Jessica."Tanya looked the girl over. She didn't understand how the meek teenager was the reason behind the big event. After knowing of the girl for so long Tanya had built up someone in her heard that was fierce and strong that their very presence made you willing to pledge your loyalty to them right away. This girl was definitely not that and Tanya couldn't figure out why the Cullens were so taken with her.

"You as well."Jessica replied.

"Now you didn't tell me much on the phone. What exactly is the problem you are having?"Tanya banished her smile when Rosalie tapped the back of her hand four times with her thumb. That was their signal that one of them was acting to enthusiastic about a situation. As the time came closer to the big event the mated pair was constantly having to keep each other in check. Tanya knew it was just going to get worse and was not looking forward to having to explain away her reactions.
