3rd person pov
everyone knew about sarah and john b now, it was the talk of the island and juliette couldn't escape it even if she tried. she still had to go to school and she still had to work. The one thing was that she went to the kook academy and not the pogues school so she wasn't with jj or kie or pope to handle what was happening with her. going back to school without her best friend was the hardest thing she had to do and yet here she was.
"jules! where have you been?" carter asked her and she shrugged. she knew where she had been, getting high off of rafes weed and avoiding the people in her life. that was the best thing she could do. she hadn't heard from sarah or john b since the boat sinked and she hated that she would never know what happened to them. She got added to the groupchat with the pogues so she would know if anything happened but there was only radio silence.
"around" she shortened
"are you okay? we know losing sarah must have been hard" sierra asked and juliette huffed. she didn't want to have this conversation once again, it was hard to just simply acknowledge it but she had to at this point.
"i mean shes finally off of you , you don't have your leech" anthony spoke and juliette turned to him aggressively
"don't fucking call her a leech. that's my best friend and shes fucking dead so fuck you" she spoke and she walked off and away from the trio. she hated that he called sarah a leech when she was anything but that.
she walked into the classroom and she sat down as she put her headphones in and she stared at the ceiling. she refused to look or talk to anyone because they weren't worth it and they never have been. she knew that people were staring but she simply didn't give a single fuck about them.
she turned her head forward at the sound of writing on the board and she started to listen to the lesson because sarah would want her too. she wouldn't want her to fail and not focus on something that she needed for college and her future.
"juliette could you tell us the answer?" he asked and she nodded as she felt eyes on her. she knew that he was trying to catch her off guard but it simply wasn't worth it. she answered the right answer and he stared at her shocked before he moved on. then her phone went off and she looked down to see a message from the groupchat and she opened it to see a picture of john b and sarah
"can i be excused?" she asked and he turned to her again
"is it an emergency?" he asked and she nodded
"I'm bleeding" she stated and she stood up as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the room to the courtyard where she sat down and read the texts of them replying. she stared at her phone in shock
"shes alive?" she said to herself and she smiled as she put her head in hands and she cried happy tears. then she heard it again and she looked down to see that sarah had texted. she read "is jules reading this?" and jules replied "I'm here sar" and sarah replied "ya miss me butterfly?" she texted and she smiled as she knew it was true.
the next thing she knew was that she was being called and she answered it to hear popes voice and she smiled
"hey! whats up?" she asked and pope smiled
"so they're alive but the only way they're going to be able to come back is if john b gets cleared and you need to be involved. we're hatching a plan right now and we want you to be involved so we'll come pick you up, tell you the plan and go through with it or at least try to. we'll be there soon" he told her and he ended the call before she could even reply and she laughed. she waited 20 minutes until the trio of them pulled up to the school and she got into the car as they told her the plan
"we're basically forcing this confession out of the guy that has the gun?" she asked and kiara nodded
"yeah basically but that's why we need you here. we plant popes phone in his car and then we listen in. we call and do everything that we have to" kiara told her and she nodded. that's when they pulled up to gavins house and pope got out, juliette stared out of the window as she listened to kiara and jj
"hows things going with pope and all?" he asked and juliette shook her head.
"good" kiara said
"good. so like in the bedroom is he freaky because he's pope orrrr?" jj sked and he led off as he looked at juliette who shook her head yet again and she didn't even notice that kiara was starting to look at her to see her reaction to the questions
"what?" kiara asked
"well i just want to know whos better? pope or john b?" he asked and kiara scoffed
"WHAT?" she asked and juliette finally spoke up
"jj I'm truly not sure its any of our business who the better kisser is and who she likes more. also I'm not sure pope would want us talking about him having sex. honestly its making me uncomfortable too" she told him and kiara smiled at her
"thanks jules" she said and jules nodded. even though she said that to him, she knew that the only reason jj was curious was because he liked pope and he knew that juliette liked kie. he was trying to help but truthfully he was just making it worse. she put her headphones in her ear and waited until the plan was fully in motion. then when pope came back, they drove off and hid from gavin so he couldn't see them.
she listened as kiara talked to gavin and she watched in baited breathe because it felt weird and strange and she hated that they were tricking him but once it was over, they waited and listened as he got in his car and he called ward and they drove after him. pope had the head phone in his ear and he told them what they were talking about.
it started to get hectic but she didn't care once they got stuck, kiara jj and pope got out but she didn't. she got in the drivers seat and she backed out of the spot before she drove after them to where she knew gavin was and she watched him drive off as she followed.
she watched pope, kiara and jj follow after her and she pulled over as they got in and they drove to the location without a thought in mind but as long as they found out the truth was what mattered. they just needed to get them there in time and juliette could do just that.
