Stevie handed two coffees to a table, smiling politely as she walked away.
"Hey" Lucas walked in, he held up a white envelope "did you get one of these?"
"I did" she nodded, walking behind the counter "seems like a load of crap, but kinda fun. I mean I finish my shift in 10 minutes"
"How's it going by the way?"
"Good" Stevie nodded, "I really like it, besides it kills time"
Lucas raised a brow,"Are you bored here?"
"A little" she admitted, "but in a good way, it's nice to be bored in a room of my own, with basically no worries"
Stevie wiped down the counter, she swatted Lucas's hand away smiling "besides, it's nice being around familiar people, helps with grief I guess"
"Have you been to the motor shop yet?" Lucas asked,
"Nope" Stevie popped the p, "and I don't plan on. I don't own a car, I don't need a job. That place can stay the way it is"
"If you ever wanted to-.."
"Lucas, I appreciate the thought but I gotta take these things as they come. I'm really happy right now, I don't wanna ruin that"
"So, this dare night?" Lucas asked.
She shrugged, "it sounds fun"
The bell above the door rang, felix walked in. A cocky grin on his face "how'd you know I like a girl in uniform"
Stevie rolled her eyes "and I suppose it's you doing all this"
"Maybe it is" he shrugged, "by the way, I like my coffee sweet. Just like my girls"
Stevie blinked, unimpressed "that's too bad, because my shift is over."
She pulled off her apron, throwing it under the counter "now please, take a seat or get out. Either or is fine with me"
Felix chuckled, he sat at a table. Waiting for the rest of his invites.
"God I hate that guy" Lucas muttered,
"He's harmless" Stevie dismissed, "people like that tend to be all bark and no bite and if he does bite, I'm banking on Brooke. They have weird enemies energy"
She walked over, putting one last coffee down "don't get too used to this" she warned.
Felix smiled, "aren't you sweet"
Stevie sighed, "can't you just like-.. I don't know be less horny or something. I'm the furthest someone could be from interested"
"Have you got a crush on someone else?" Felix teased, looking over at Lucas.
