Kira (The Return of Mohanna )

CHAPTER 30

The Primis, and the Shades were in the cave looking at the grey lifeless bodies of Iva and Morova.
"I checked the security footage at the school and I saw them both being stabbed with a wooden stake. It was a lady. Apparently she's a vampire.", Ivora said.
"We need to find her and end her", Meliodas said.
"Well I'm afraid that's impossible darling", a voice said from behind them.
They all looked at the entrance and saw a lady.
Ivora vamped to her, grabbed her neck and was about to vamp with her when the lady held her hand, took it off her neck, bent it till her wrists bones cracked and flung her to the wall.
Meliodas' eyes widened. With vamp speed, he punched her and pushed her. She fell on her knees.
"Easy. I haven't even introduced myself", she said and vamped to Meliodas and kicked him, sending him to the wall.
Meliodas got on his feet.
"If it isn't Kira"
"Ooh. Someone's smart"

Malyen vamped to Kara, headbutted her, grabbed her by her collar and threw her into the cave.
"How could you kill what you made?", he yelled.
"I warned y'all. Remember? You're lucky I didn't lay waste to the lot of you", Kara said.
Malyen hissed as his eyes turned blood red and vamped to Kara but she caught him by his neck with her left hand and lifted him.
"And thus comes the end of Malyen's not so immortal life ".
She pulled out the stake with her other hand and was about to stab him when someone vamped into the cave, grabbed Kara's arm and flung her to the wall.
Kara quickly got up and looked at her attacker to see Diego. His pupils were red and there were red veins below his lower eyelids.
"You don't seem surprised", he said and his face returned to normal.
"I'm not. I just recalled that I fed you vampire blood few hours before I killed you. Then you, no your ancestors found a way to manipulate vampirism to make you a hybrid. Well, seeing as you're now part vampire..". Kara shrugged and tightened her hold on the stake. ".. here's to second chances"
She vamped to Diego and drove the stake through his chest, barely missing his heart. Diego screamed and took hold of her hand, he bit her and threw her to one of the wooden tables. It crashed as she landed on it. With vamp speed, she got to her feet. But then she staggered and her sight became blurry.
"You feel that?", Diego asked, panting. "That's what I'll use to take you down. No one can be truly immortal. You of all people should know that"
He pulled out the stake from his chest and it got incinerated to ashes in his hands.
Kara was panting.
"And since you're in vampire form, it'll be easy to snap you out of consciousness"
He vamped to her and broke her neck.
"Get something like a bathtub. I've compelled some humans to get consecrated water and all the green goo from where I was killed. I coated my fangs with the goo. That's why my bite weakened her".
Diego staggered and fell on his knees. They all rushed to him.
"Are you okay?", Delilah asked.
"I'll be fine". He looked at the wound from where he was stabbed. It wasn't healing.
"That stake would've killed me if it hit my heart. But it's still affecting me"

Kara was inside a bathtub filled with water. A human stood by the tub pouring jars of the green goo into the tub.
All the species stood in silence until five voices entered the cave. They all shrieked and quickly grabbed their heads.
Pedro with four other witches walked in and they were all reciting a spell.
Maximus growled and vamped to them but Pedro was faster. He vamped to him, plunged his fist into his chest and tore out his heart from it. He then flung his lifeless body to the wall. The other witches stopped reciting.
"I suggest you hand over Kira's body to us now before things get more unpleasant than they already are"
"Oh things are gonna get unpleasant for you.", Baal said. "By the time my son wakes up, you'll be the only witch standing and he'll torture you're already beaten up immortal body"
Pedro chuckled.
"Oh Baal. You're so dense. You're son's not coming back. He's gone, permanently. When Kira made him a shade, she didn't make him as immortal as you and Blondie over there. He's gone. The only person with the power to bring him back is Kira but we both know that she won't do shit. It's a good riddance actually"
Baal growled and vamped to Pedro but Pedro raised his hand and balled it.
Baal stopped and bent low screaming. Blood flowed down his nostrils, eyes and ears.
"How about we melt your brain? I know you'll heal but hey, at least it's gonna hurt so bad"
Diego hissed as his pupils turned red and the veins appeared.
"Filthy witches". He looked at the Primis and Delilah. "Ready?"
They nodded as their feral sides appeared on their faces.

Within few minutes, the four witches were dead and Diego and the Primis and Delilah were spent. Baal was unconscious.
Diego and Pedro glared at each other.
"You. You're almost like a witch. Why would you join hands with these vile creatures to attack Kira?"
"Don't you dare liken me to a witch. My ancestor killed Mohanna before. I aim to make history repeat itself. And I won't let anyone stop me"
"But I have the power to stop you ", Pedro said.
"Oh really?". Diego looked around and focused on one of the broken wooden tables. He vamped to it and picked up a piece of wood. He leaped in the air and knocked both himself and Pedro to the ground with him on the top. He drove the wood through Pedro's heart.
Pedro grunted and smiled.
"Now darling, I can't allow myself to go unconscious while you're still awake. And be rest assured, my witches will come back to life. Meanwhile you're going to sleep with me"
Diego looked confused. He was about to speak but his neck got snapped by magic.
"Motis", Pedro said and his unconscious body was liftedoff of him and was thrown across the cave.
Then Pedro blacked out.
