I believed my future to unfold itself as I walked northward
A beckoning suture for the scars left behind
Slowly I found my prayers answered
by the Maker who has my life designedI had one foot in life and the other in the grave
I circled the drain for far too long
The fear of death made me brave
I found my wings to fly to a place where I belongAs Icarus, I flew into the pyre
As Lazarus, I awoke and found new life
The flames have made me wiser
Up from the grave, I have escaped my strifeThe lights are now slipping through the shadows
The Reckoning has set it free to the day
These lights have broken through the windows
And are now gently pulling me awayI found something to build me
I found someone to heal me
I found someone to pull me from bitter oblivion into sweet eternity.
The world was spinning around me
A light shone in the north and paused my reality
I found my closure and have been set free.I see new light, I see Aurora
She pulls me up and clothes me in innocence
Her words colour me a pure spectra
Her love renews my conscienceThe northern lights are now my abode
Our synapses harmonise in symphony
With joy I now implode
Every day, a new jubilee
