I'm getting ready for the interview. I've done some natural looking makeup and put a red crop top, and Jean shorts on. Hmm...this could use a leather jacket. I throw mine on.

Perfect! Now for my hair...I toss it around a bit.

knock knock knock

"Come in!" I yell to McKenna.

I turn to her. Not McKenna. Walker. Well, he's bending down to grab something he dropped. Clumsy kid.

"Hey, what are you we-" he looks up at me. "You look great." He stands up.

I feel flustered. FUCK HES NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME FLUSTERED, OTHER WAY AROUND!

I can tell he's been stressing because his curls are a mess.

"Um...can you help me decide what to wear?" He asks.

"Jeans and a hoodie." I snap my finger.

His jaw drops and he does his little surprised face. "I had those picked out! I just need help with the hoodie!" He smiles.

"Alright, come on then!"

We get into his room. "You have a nice room" I say.

"Okay, red on that says 'I ❤️ the chipmunks' OR we could do dark blue no words." He holds both up.

"NO WAY DUDE!" I exclaim.

"What?! What?!" He asks.

"I love the chipmunks!" I bounce.

"Who's your favorite?!" He asks.

"Ooo toughie, I love Simon, but Theodore's a real one. Hmmm...." I ponder.

"Guess mine." He takes the pressure off of me.

"Theodore, one hundred percent." I say

"Bingo!" He laughs.

"I have to say blue. If you wear red you can't wear it on the red carpet." We both laugh.

His laugh is so nice. It's like pure happiness.

I see his curls again. "Here, let me help you out." I step so our faves are right next to each other. I get on my tiptoes and try and finger come his curls back to normal.

"Your hair is great." I tell him.

"Thanks. Watcha doing to it?" He asks.

"Just fixing a few things." I respond. "Done."

"Thanks." He nods.

"Okay. See ya." I say and head for the door.

"Pause!" I freeze. Why did that work?

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Do you have like a uh...phone number?" He asks.

"No Walker, I just have a phone to play pretend with." His eyes look confused. "Yes, obviously!" I laugh.

"Do you have my instagram?" I ask.

"Is it weird if I say yes?" He responds.

"No, that's normal." I tell him.

"Then yeah, I do." He laughs.

"Here." He gives me his phone.

I type my number in. "Text me when you're ready to meet Tony." I smile.

"Got it." He smiles back at me.
