Jordans pov
Shit! Shit! Shit! It's cold! Holy crap this water is cold! I had gotten into the shower without checking the temperature which I really regret now. I could see the tips of my hair turning blue so I quickly turned around and turned the knob for the huge shower. The water warmed up and I started to relax when suddenly the water got as hot as the sun. My hair, which had faded back to black, turned bright red. I turned the temperature back down and focused on getting my hair to fade from its bright red.
I did my best to keep my hair black to hide my emotions. I did it to keep up my "bad boy act" as my parents called it, not that it mattered while I was alone. When I finished in the shower I got out and went to my room to get dressed. I was going out to get coffee and some breakfast since my mom can't cook without burning down the kitchen.
I looked in the mirror and saw that my hair was black once again, going well with my green eyes. I slid on some jeans a random t-shirt and some sneakers, grabbed my bag, and walked out. I was about to say bye to my parents, but decided against it when I saw them making out in the kitchen.
With a shudder of disgust, I walked out to the garage to pick a car to drive. I walked amongst the many cars and decided to drive the black ferrari. I grabbed the keys from the dashboard and drove to a coffeeshop. I parked and stepped out of my car walking towards the entrance. You could smell the fresh coffee and donuts so I quickly jumped in line. I ordered a black coffee and a chocolate donut to eat while I worked. I sat down in a comfortable chair and started working when a ding at the door distracted me. A girl walked in with bright blue eyes and matching blue hair. She was beautiful, wait what? Beautiful? I never say that. I wanted to go talk to her but some girl came up to her and they started hugging. I noticed their hair turned orange, so obviously they were excited to see each other. I looked back down at my computer so she wouldn't notice me staring. I didn't want her to think I was a freak or somthing. I kept my eyes focused on my computer for a few more minutes and when I looked up, I saw her sitting criss cross in a big chair. She had her phone in one hand and a coffee in the other. I could tell she was reading by looking at the way her eyes moved across the screen. What amazed me though, was the way her hair started changing colors as she continued reading. I had never seen anyone's hair change colors while reading. It was pretty amazing that she was so into the book that her emotions were affected by the story. I was still looking at her when, all of a sudden she looked up. We made eye contact but I didn't look away. Her eyes were captivating, but I could tell she was embarrassed by the way her hair turned pink. I hadn't noticed it before, but I could tell the tips of my hair were quickly turning the same color. I averted my thoughts and the pink disappeared. I really wanted to talk to her so I moved my laptop and stood up. I started walking across the room, I guess she heard me sit down because she looked up. Her hair, which had faded back to blue, now had pink strips showing through. It was pretty adorable on her because it matched her blush. OK what?!?!? I swear I'm going crazy! I don't call people beautiful or adorable or any of this! I sat in the chair next to her to see if she would say anything. She looked over at me with flushed cheeks and matching hair. She seemed confused as to why I was sitting next to her, I wish I had an explanation but I really didn't. I was about to say somthing when "Can I help you?" Interrupted my thoughts. "What?" "Is there anything you need, that you would explain why you are sitting over here?" She asked. The sarcasm in her voice was very noticeable, but weird because I expected her to be shy. I decided to flirt a little and see how she reacted. "Yeah, you can help me get your number, cutie." She looked surprised, but instead of a cute blush she gave a real response. "And what if I have a boyfriend? What are you going to do then?" I hadn't thought of that, but I wasn't going to let it stop me. "Then what exactly is your boyfriends name?" "Jordan" was her immediate response. I was surprised considering she had just said my name, although she didn't know that. "So does that mean I can kiss you?" Her eyes widened as she responded with a "What?" "You said your boyfriends name is Jordan. My name is Jordan which means I could be your boyfriend." She looked at me in surprise, obviously not believing that my name was Jordan. "How could you be my boyfriend if I've never met you before?" Damn this girl is good. "Maybe we end up dating and I'm from the future telling you this." She looked at me like I was crazy, which was probably true. She was about to answer when her phone started ringing. She have me a sorry look and picked it up. While she was talking on the phone I realized that I didn't even know her name. When I looked up she was talking and said "Bye Dad. I'll be home in a few." I guess she had to leave which was pretty upsetting. She turned towards me with her blue hair swinging around her shoulder. "I guess I'll see you around." "Yeah. Wait! I never caught your name" I yelled as she walked away. "That's because I never threw it." God her sarcastic comments really threw me off. "Wait at least tell me what school you go to." I yelled again. "Westview." Wait, she went to westview? I go there, how have I never seen her around. I swear I will talk to her again.
