Isabelle's POV -

Bright and early the next morning, I sprang out of bed at 7 o'clock, feeling a surge of energy propelling me forward. With a sense of purpose, I made a beeline for the bathroom, eager to start my day. As the warm water cascaded over me, awakening my senses, memories of my conversation with Naveen ji on the phone yesterday came flooding back.

I couldn't help but cringe as I recalled my own words, realizing that my tendency to use expletives had once again reared its ugly head. Why did I have such a habit of peppering my speech with profanities? It was a question that had plagued me for years, and yet, in the heat of the moment, I seemed unable to control it. Never mind, if he likes me and then he should find my gaaliyans cute.

As I stood in front of the mirror, admiring the intricate embroidery and delicate bead work of the lehenga, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Aahania. It was as if she had not only chosen a beautiful outfit for me, but also bestowed upon me a newfound confidence and appreciation for her genuine nature. Our interactions had been brief, mostly limited to polite exchanges and occasional small talk. Yet, there was something about Aahania that went beyond surface-level conversations. Her kindness radiated from within, leaving an indelible mark on my heart.

I recalled the first time we met, when she had effortlessly complimented my choice of earrings, her warm smile reaching her eyes. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about her character. Aahania had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and appreciated, effortlessly spreading positivity wherever she went. Aahania possessed a rare combination of elegance and humility, a captivating presence that drew people towards her. It was impossible not to be captivated by her magnetic aura.

As I slipped into the lehenga, I couldn't help but feel a connection to Aahania. It now held a deeper meaning, symbolizing the bond we had formed, however fleeting it may be. In that moment, I realized that sometimes, the most profound connections are formed through the simplest of interactions. Aahania had unknowingly left an imprint on my soul, reminding me of the power of genuine kindness and the impact it can have on someone's life. As I was about to step out of my door, ready to embark on my day's journey, I caught sight of Naveen ji standing right in front of me. His unexpected presence startled me, causing my heart to skip a beat.

Surprised and intrigued by his sudden appearance, I couldn't help but inquire, my voice filled with curiosity and excitement, "Naveen ji, aap yaha kya kar rahe hai?" As the question escaped my lips, Naveen ji's face broke into a warm smile, his eyes twinkling with a mix of amusement and intrigue. He took a moment to gather his thoughts, his gaze fixed on a distant point, as if contemplating the best way to convey his intentions.

He said, "Voh mom dad pehle hi nikal gaye aage and mujhe akele jane maza nahi aa raha tha, toh maine socha aapke saath jau."

"Oh aacha, toh phir aap Aahan ke saath kyu nahi gaye? I am sure voh yahi hoga" I teased him. "Are voh Aahan toh chala gaya kab ka, maine usse pho-" before he could complete his sentence, Aahan popped out of no where saying,

"Oye, main kab gaya aur tune mujhe phone kab kiya?"

It felt as if Naveen ji had lost all his words, he started stuttering "Are tu - tu toh chala gaya tha na phir - phir vapas kaise aaya?"

"Hain? Main kab gaya, main toh tujhe bulane aaya tha. Humne raat ko hi toh deci-" before Aahan could finish his sentence Naveen ji cutted him off saying, "Abe chup yaar samjah na" and did some gesture with his eyes.

God knows what it was? Man talk? I guess yea.

As if Aahan understood those hints and said, "Are haan maine hi toh phone nahi uthaya tha, lagta hai behen ja rahi hai toh uski khushi main pagal ho gaya hui" saying that he started laughing and left the place.
